are you going to weld a new sheet so you can screw in your bumper brackets? i have the same problem and would like to know what could be done.

i’m assumeing you meanon the side by the 1/4’s right ,well replaced one with new steel and the other was allright ,but ive since cut that side out and welded in a patch for it . I managed to save the mounts for the slide brackets but i’m thinking about just bolting them on …

thanks ,yeah i like the stock lights as well ,but might as well give it a shot , i got $300 lights for 50 bucks so haha why not lol as for the swing out light ,I’m trying but the rsx light is way deeper and has funny shapes to it .If not i have something up my sleeve to make it a clean look

i allso think i found the perfect rear lip .we shall see ,its from a 2006 avalanche ,yup yup ,i forgot it at my buddies though ,my buddy hit a dog and cracked it ,but nothing a bit of plastic welding wont fix …
obviously i’m going to have to cut it down anyways haha

No, not at all. I think doing so is a waste of energy. All I’m offering is constructive criticism. I’m not claiming to be an expert either, btw. 
As for the flames, I don’t have any to show you. But, I know what I like, and I think yours just need smoother transitions. Like I said, keep at it, and in the end all that really matters is whether or not you’re happy with the result.
Oh, and I’m glad you’re using a respirator. Every once in a while I see photos posted of people spraying without one.

so i hallowed outt he socket and dremeled new slots to lock them in place
yeah boy …i dont need no stinkin rsx light harness
and some welding i did a few days back
just have to clean it up ,i took the welds down a bit ,but i need a new floppy to make it all nice nice …
so with the tailight foam on the back of the light and witht he light installed ,once you lift the hatch you can see it ,so i welded a peice in to clean it up a bit …
oh and i have that light fully mounted now too :rockon:

Oh god… It’s insane to look at the beginning of this thread, and read it from start to finish (where it is at as of now). That was some horrible, horrible rust. Neon fenders… My jaw almost hit the ground. It was so shocking… I didn’t think it would look good. But, it looks pretty effin’ awesome. All the things you have done to this car, really makes me feel like a lazy ass for being hesitant to fix my GS-R. I’m just afraid it won’t line up. That’s the whole reason I haven’t done anything.
But this thread is absolutely mind blowing. Mad props dude. Even thought I have the Honda-tech JDM mentality, I’ll shut my Mexican face for a moment. You’re awesome. Keep up the good work, brother. I’m extremely anxious to see how your Integra turns out. :excite:

haha thanks guys :rockon: ive been busy cutting and hauling wood for my stove in the garage the last few days (need heat ya know lol) … i have a guy bringing his ride for work ,then another right after it ,well right int he middle of it haha so with the teggy his whip and the other one i’m going to be super busy the next few weeks to a month … getting this bitch done soon though ,have no choice now that my blower went in my beater and i refuse to buy a new one lol …cough nissan cough haha i need to car to drive with heat haha…
wasnt going to drive this car in the winter ,but have not choice with my malibu down (major shaving on that one haha) crx down (wouldn’t drive it in the winter anyways ) shadow blew up haha and the neon in alberta and the front fenders on the teggy now haha
i need another car …or maybe its less projects lol
so ive cleaned up the light i have fully mounted now .little bit of filler on the smoothed out welds and sanded it …
so sorry for lack of updates … will get back at her right away
