so i picked up some light weight filler for pin holes and for cleaning up the jelly .well they were out of rage and fury so i got this stuff … it isnt that bad ,like bondo ,but it isnt as good as rage or fury …but it will work haha
so you guys remeber that passenger doo with the rust and it being so bad that i had to cut out like the whole bottom ? well this is it allmost done … some blocking and i think one low spot to take care of …but yeah big difference huh

i didn’t …i failed ,but i took way more then others do haha … thought it would be peice of cake … if i didn’t panic a bit when it went into my lungs and nose you would have see trying to spit it out haha … it stuck tot he inside of my mouth and was fucking me right up …then i chased it with pepsi and it freakin like foamed up some how so it was coming out my mouth haha… would have been funny to get it on cam … wish someone was around to tape it hehe
So the line on the door was pretty wavy .like really bad haha So i taped off a line took it down to steel and then a thin coat of filler pulled the tape of while wet and had my new line :rockon: ive sanded it down and i’m just doing the tape sand change tape to other side and sanding deal right now …
paint is coming hehe i’m excited:)

so here is a teaser of whats going down today …
there seems to be a little wave still in the bottom line ,but i don’t care ,the door was so far gone i’m happy i got it this good haha .But i’m sure it will bug me and i’ll end up just redoing it anyways down the road haha …
oh and thats not clear just second coat of paint … its bit colder tonight and even though its nice and warm in here i doubled the flash time between coats
ive been up all night doin stuff and am planing on going through the day as well painting the other door and the hatch .pull the car outside to setup for clear ,clear the stuff ,let it sit for a bit ,then move tot he hot room to chill while i spray the car itself …i have to run and buy a few things first .but yeah getting there though haha

ok earlier this morning when wen tto spray the 3rd coat of paint my gun spit a bit on a pass and looked like shit .So i let it sit and wetsanded it back to flat again here is a pic of the door after i wetsanded it .don,t mind the soapy water ,just look at the bigger light in the door .like the bottom left corner byt he light and you can sorta see the spit… wouldnt have even noticed it unless you looked hard ,but i couldnt just leave it so yeah haha
i just got back and am about to get back at it …just getting my project pages upto date a bit ,dont wan to forget anyone

i’m not having a good day ,first the stuff i needed was sold out or they said it was discontinued .which is bull shit and it will be there next week …crappy tire allways says that shit …then i bought a new axe to split wood for my stove and well i was going to fast and hit my toe … limping now …and then i ran the clear a bit (never do that ) so i had to run tape to fix it …then my compressor just seized up on me …poooffff dead …shit !
so i’m at a stand still again …so gay …freakin gay…so i got to run tot he city and buy a compressor now

thanks bud ,i guess i forgot to update …so i had not compressor ,so obviously i needed to buy one haha ,so i drove 4 hours in total without a blower in the winter beater …(nissan) in -37c haha
so for $360 i gots this and some free stuff with it

lol so wat happened to the old air compressor lol they usualy just dont up and “poof”. did you forget to change the air filter like everone always does. “yes they have airfilters” lol. Im kinda jelous the last time i painted i had really bad orange peel. I was using industrial paint on my lip. But thats beside’s the point. keep up the good work.
sick da … i know they have air filters mine allso needed oils change as well …it was small 8 gallon and i used it for everything …sandblasting ,painting everything haha poor thing ,just couldnt take it anymore …there is a needle that has been acting funny on it and well i guess it finally had it … i’m not exactly sure what happened but i’m guessing the oil pump didnt pump anymore haha … i only had it under a year i guess so i’m going to see if crappy tire will hook me up with another … better should have a warranty still ,but they say know …bullshit
i don’t get it i baby my stuff and take care of my tools and they allways die on me haha …
as for the orange peel …i have orange peel ,not much but i do .thats why you wet sand buff and polish .like black you have to haha .the reason it looks so mint is becuase its fresh .next day i have orange peel . but i don’t if i have it hot in here ,like really hot …

yeah i saw those ,looks sick ,needs a bit of cleaning around the skirts and bumper ,but it does look very good on the there .he did a great job . honestly i would do them too ,but finding those flares around here is next to impossible haha .If some one found a set and was willing to sell and ship to me then sure i’ll do it ,but i doubt that will happen either haha
