yeah thats an idea and i bet power antenna’s would do the trick …and i had one on this car ,but i cut it off haha I think i’m going to try that ,because i’m pretty sure i can paint this car by tonight !

Here is my 90-91 taillights. You can clear them by swishing bleach, or super clean in them… This will rid them of the pink lines… A lot of people are in love with them (ie BacardiBreezer)

Here are my cleared 92-93s
on the left is stock, and on the right is the cleared ones. You can clear these by taking them apart and removing the reflectors and diffusers, then paint the inside with chrome paint. I prefer this look, and so do many others. Everyone has their own opinion about them but it seems that they feel obligated to force it upon others.

so i didn’t paint the car yet and i don’t think i’m going too untill tomorow …crap i was really looking forard to getting the chassis sprayed !!!

so all i do is put bleach in the light and it takes the pink away hmmmmm i like that and the clear looks way better then pink i think ,yup i’m going to have to do that i think

thanks bud …nope i just picked up a sander 6 years ago and have been teaching myself since :rockon: I did alot of fiberglass work and then this last year ,well allmost a year i guess ive been doing all metal work …
as for painting ive only painted a few cars ,and again just bought the guns ,compressor and went to town haha

I’m so glad you’re doing a 5 spd swap! yes there are a couple threads on the tail clearing if you run into trouble or anything but it’s very simple…put some warm water in there with the castrol super clean/purple power/bleach whatever you use

i think the int shaft has to be changed along with that side half shaft but the other side is good…im not sure havnt looked at that in a while…i jsut have the 5speed off tha batt

well i did the tailight clearing ,didn’t seem like it was going to work at first ,so i just let it sit for like 1 hour and it did haha ,looks so much better .thanks guys ,no more pink for me hehe

x mas is eating up time right now .i have to go visit some family idon’t even like evry much haha .I really havent had time to do anything the last few days which pisses me off ,but what ya gonna do (shrugs) I did gut some mirrors a a bit more and trimmed up the mirror farme to fit my mirrors and i allso got the pivot thing worked out i think haha .I was planing on just welding it into place ,but its a diffrent steel and i don’ think i can weld it .So i’ll most likely glue it some how (didn’t wanna go that route)

as you can see in that pic i posted i cut some more steel out near the bumper mount .It was soild but there was specs of rust on the inside .I could have just blasted it ,but its cleaner to just weld in new .

yeah i know bud ,ive been bummed the last few days since i got screwed over pretty hard over xmas by a family member …bastard!
so i sold the teggy today I’m still finishing it ,but i will not own the car for much longer .
i bought the car for $450 and invested about 500 i guess plus my time .
and i sold it for $3000 ,but i cut him a deal since he’s my buddy haha .i wanted 4500 or 4000 ,but i think i still idid pretty good .
i washed the car like acrazy this morning and will be painting soon guys .yup the itme has finally come to paint the rest of the car …updates of something soon .tomorow sometime i hope …
