im having a hard time routing my intercooler piping…
the thing is…i want to retain AC…
for those that still have ac, how did you guys route the piping from intercooler to the turbo? can you guys post pics?

I tried every possible way to keep my A/C and run a turbo. Good luck with your project. I ended up having to removing mine anyways.
haha good luck! i did the same there was a company made a manifold garanteed i could keep the ac but $1200 wasnt worth the ac at all!
no one has pics?
i’m in the same situation. this depends on each individual setup, as no ones is ever the same. even if you can get it to fit, the a/c will be heat soaked, and not feel that cold anymore. i’m gonna end up ditching it probably. this is the price you pay to have boost…
if you figure something out, let me know. good luck.
thanks…
it seems near impossible to route my pipes from the intercooler to my turbine…
i want to keep ac because theres talk about my family moving to socal…and i think imma be needing it
i ran AC and power steering with my set up. and, the AC was just as cold as before i went turbo. i even have my piping for sale in the for sale section. here is the link:

if you’re interested, the price is TOTALLY negotiable. lmk and i hope this helps.
did u keep stock ac fan?
ps/ac
threw the washer hole
i would never cut up the metal liek that
and that being the main front bar…
thats just me
i was gunna route it like that…but there was a plastic box that was in the driverside wheel well…
and i dunno if i could take it off…since i dunno what it is…

that is ur intake resonator
remove that it does nothing if u dont have stock intake there anyways
hah
no, i have both of my fans in front of the AC condenser, one 9" slim fan and one 10" slim fan. no overheating issues, even in hot and humid houston weather!
i’m assuming you had to get rid of your wiper fluid? i didn’t know that hole is big enough to run piping through. do you have any pictures of the top view of that piping? oh, and i got the idea to route my piping like that from another member on here named JR-GSR. no problems for me and apparently not him either.
uh, are you guys talking about the plastic box on the passenger side or is there a different box on the driver side? i thought the intake resonator is that box at the end of the intake on the passenger side.

oh yah thought he typed pass side
the driverside there is nothing cept the washer bottle(which i think he means by plastic box)

what did you do about the 90 degree freon hose coming from the lower front of the cooler thing(the radiator type thing that cools the freon)? it pushes my fmic out way to far. also, what manifold, turbo, wastegate are you using?
thanx.

i dont know what ur talkinga bout b/c that wasnt even a problem for me
get me a pix so i get the idea
UGR(blox replica)
turbonetics t3/t4 54trim 63ar STgIII
tial 38mm wg
i have a rev hard manifld and a .42 AIresearch
you guys think it will clear my stock fans?

it’s in front of your radiator. it’s what you see in the lower right corner of pic 3. if i mount my fmic in front of that, it’s gonna stick out like 1 1/2 farther than it would need to.

external gate? most likely not the a/c fan.
i test fitted my manifold and turbine earlier today…
and it clears!!
stock radiator, stock fans, retaining ac and external wastegate!
i will post a picture once i put it all together…
it might be a while…but it will be done eventually…my job is working me like a dog! no time for anything now!

Great pics. I’ve been searching for a way to do the IC piping without losing A/C, P/S and washer tank. I think this is the way to go. What did you cut it with?
^^^^
i did it with a regular 2.5" hole saw attached to a drill. you may not have to, but i went through with a sawzall to clear extra space so the piping wouldn’t get too scratched up. make sure the hole saw is for metal. took me about 10 min. max!
