ok im always browsing on the site but never registered, so finally i did. i c alot of da boosted but what the never show is how the piping is done(detailed pictures). well i know for throttle body to intercooler is simple but im talkin bout from turbo to intercooler, if it wasnt that damn crossmember at the bottom things would be a whole lot easier. i like the hell out of my da’s but when it comes to modifying them it not easy unless u are going all motor…so if anyone would be generous to post so detailed pictures of their piping from turbo to intercooler so i could get some idea of what to do i would really appreciate that alot
Here you go. Pics of my setup…
gimme a day or two to post up some pictures of old stuff…but here in about a week or two i will have new pictures of new setup wahoo!
…and yes i found a place to host them…i had to re-install photoshop.
Some bad pics of my set up:
Tyrus 6" FMIC
Painting all the pipes
and the final product
I dont have any detail pics of my turbo pipes. I will take some and post them.

thanks guys…very nice pics keepem’ comin…but the problem im having is that i want to put my turbo with the compressor side on the left and exhaust side on the right. if i do it the way you got yours it would be very easy but i guess i got to be the difficult one, but very nice pics and keepem comin…and thanks.
here’s mine…cca 31x8x2.75
where can i find those rubber 90degree elbow cupplings at:
hook on boost–did u cut out the frame of your car for your turbo to intercooler piping…if did, does it effect the way your car handles…
Tchleung-witht the way your turbo is turned, could you have still ranned your powersteering…
yes I cut a 3 inch hole in there…as far as the car handles it’s the same…
for the 90 degree elbow…http://bakerprecision.com/purosil2.htm

thanks man …keep the pics acoming yall really appreciating all the help and info…
With modifications to the system. Yes. I plan on running the pipes the same but adding PS next time.
The only problem is that the pipe comnig off the turbo goes SMACK dab right where the PS reservoir used to be. so i removed it all. but what I’ll be donig next time is relocating the Radiator coolant reservoir to the passenger side, taht way it’ll free up that spot which I’ll relcoate the PS reservoir to there instead of stock spot. taht way the pipe can still be ran that way. and with the pump installed, and minor angling. it “JUST” clears the pump/hood/lights lol. I’ve already test fitted so I know it works. But be ready for some measuring and lotsa cutting to fit it right.
yea im having the same problem, im tring to find piping or some info on it. i want to build my own kit.
intercooler piping
Tchleung----i c what u are saying now maybe ill do the same ,but another thing i like bout the turbo being with the compressor side on the left so i would be able to run a filter on the turbo ,with it on the other side u cant really run a filter because of the tight fit…oh and being with the turbo is turned the opposite way how does your down pipe fit…does it clear the front tranny mount that bolts up to the crossmember…
Acutally I do have a filter on there. You can only really fit the mushroom style filters on there. my turbo has the 3" velocity stack so the fitler went right on perfect. as for clearence with the downpipe. it clears it perfectly. I find it easier running it this way. much simpler downpipe. no need to do that 180 degree bend etc. i have 2 O2 sensors on the downpiep as well which come close to the motor monut, but if I moved the sensors further down or up I’d have even more clearence.
Sry. no real good pics up close of clearence… but it clears just fine. You can just see the front mount in the last picture, jsut to the left of the downpipe. Lotsa space…

yeah that the same thing i was thinking, my friend has bout 30 mushroom style filters and he selling them for 5 bucks each i think ill grab a couple of them…thinks for the pics…how does your car pull is that a b16 …how many lbs are u running if u dont mind me asking…
was a stock B16 yes. only mods were GSR camshafts. I would only build 3-4 PSI or so then as soon as vtec kicked in, the bosot would immediately jump to 7- psi(depending what I was running that day) I’ve had it up to 10psi aslo. even at 7psi. it hauled ass…that was until the oil pump gear blew up and wrecked the motor haha. I’m building a 2 litre GSR block with ITR head right now.
intercooler piping
well mine only have 10miles on motor with a 84mm bore but i dont have the pro gear in my oil pump but it is brand new 00si oil pump…it shouldnt tear up so quick should it…i have darton sleeves…
Nice. 84 bore on a b16? so that’s about 1.7L. good stuff. yeah it’ll go like hell especailly when VTEC engages. jsuta w arning. depending no what tturbo setup you are usuing. you may experince no pweor at bottom end haha. the b16 is already kinda weak on the bottom end. a big turbo just makes it worse but ocne you hit 3-3500 rpm when bosot starts to buidl it feels better hehe
yeah i know they are weak , but thats why i got sleeve so i can bump boost up my setup is
sfp mani
tial 38mm wg
blitz bov
sfp downpipe
spearco intercooler
precision 550 injectors
vortech 12:1 fmu
aem fpr
garrett t3/to4e turbo 50 trim/62 a/r
hondata s200 with boost option…opinions please…
Looks ood but why do you have an FMU when you have hondata? hondata will control the fuel flow. so sell it to get some $$ back. also for the FPR… i’d get a guage if it doesn’t come with one so you have soemthing to adjsut by. But ya… sell the FMu and use the money to buy a fuel pump tof eed thsoe injectors instead IMO
oh i already have an walbro 255lph in my car and the fmu was given i know i dont need it because of my engine mangement i was just going to use it until i get ready to put the hondata on, and i wasnt going to do that until tuning time…
