Thanks! I’m a huge fan of your car too. You’ve got a good eye for detail.
Another gift from my girlfriend. Love having the fridge in there.
Here’s the before pic of the garage before we bought the house.

The contrast in color between the car and the wheels… Man, looks awesome! I recently got rid of my Konig Retracks, I hated them on my car… But with the correct color scheme, you’ve shown that they can look great.
The garage has come along nicely as well. As much as I enjoy having a shop I wish my home garage were setup in a fashion like you’ve got going. Good stuff!

those right there are real cpr sprintharts. Not konigs lol. Konig retracts looks wayyy different. Something similar but uglier.
Car looks amazing and seeing your garage makes me jealous lol, I haven’t had a garage with a mini fridge in almost three years. Lol
I never said that HIS are replicas… The point being made was: that style of wheel, on MY car, I hated. On this car? They look great.
I didn’t purposely imply or say that his were Konig or otherwise fake.
But thanks!
Looking good, Jon…cleanest captiva I know of! Been putting in some serious work on mine…we need to chat soon!

Thanks unified112, appreciate the kind words. I put a lot of work in to the garage since I bought the house last June. The garage is a lot more than a garage to me. I rarely watch TV, if I have free time I’m there finding something to do. Appreciate the comments on the wheels as well. I came up with the idea when I tried out some replica GAB wheels in Bronze and loved the combo. I’m really happy with the result of the root beer bronze powder coat. BTW these were done by memoryFab.
REAL DEAL!
Ha Thanks man, appreciate it. I put a lot of work into both the car and garage, they kinda go together for me. I want to do a lot more with the garage but it’s a good start. I am a member of the garage journal boards…there are some garages on there that make me so jealous!
Thanks Cam! That’s awesome, I want to check it out so we need to catch up soon. How’s your house coming along?
Yeah man we def do. I been wrenching like crazy between the car, bike, and the daily
Just did a HG today. House is great, especially my garage! How’s yours treating you? Congrats again man, no feeling like owning!

I’m glad to hear everything is going well…my house has been awesome and the garage has been great. I agree…no feeling like owning! I’ll hit you up soon.
There’s a huge Honda/Acura show at the dealership this weekend. I decided to spend some time on my paint this past weekend. Washed, clay bared, polished with an electric buffer/cool-it pad and waxed the car. It got painted back in 2007, the paint looks new again!
i have to do this soon…like this needed to be done yesterday
Forgot all about signing up for the show. Oh well, I might head down there and show some support.
Car looks fantastic. How did you like the compound? did you do it by hand or with a machine?
I bet the depth of the paint is fantastic. The camera your using isn’t doing it justice
The show was awesome!

Thanks! I did it with a buffer and a cool-it pad…those photos were taken with an Ipad. I actually got a new camera for my Birthday (Friday). Maybe this will help with the depth a little …I took the below shots over the weekend (Canon EOS Rebel T3i)
Looking good! Mike and you going to the Black Japan meet next month?
So sexy. looking good Jon:up:
Thanks Bryce! What day is the meet?
Thanks Glynn!
I brought the car in today to get the exhaust finished up. It is now full 3" from the DP (no resonator). I set the angle of the fart can, haha I feel like a ricer but I like the way it came out. It’s got a nice angle to the side and up.
I also got my Koni’s, still waiting on the Ground Controls. I ended up getting 550/450 rates.
