with all the shine and bling in the last couple pages of this thread I need to get out my cool sunglasses to look at this gorgeous beast and I do me beast… I would be totaly happy with numbers like those on my setup. Congrats:up:
Beautiful car. Good numbers on the LS turbo.
This has been a great thread to read! Any transmission work/mods/swaps on this teg?
Thank you. I am very happy with numbers. It’s all very fun and useful power too. I honestly tried to approach the build with a purpose and it really came together the way I wanted with the new turbo setup and motor build.
Thanks Glynn and I checked out your updates, congrats on getting some good numbers! I hope you are enjoying the car :burnout:
Thanks! I highly encourage everyone to take your car on a track, you will look at your mods/purpose in a completely different way. Plus it’s a great compliment to shows and meets.
Thank you sir. Also, I checked out your thread. Car looks great. I feel your pain with the VIS Mugen reps but it’s all worth it in the end
Thanks! Actually not yet but I have some plans for the winter to change out the clutch disc and add LSD. Check back for updates.
A few updates on the car: Ran another autocross and clocked my new fastest lap. It was a great season overall, probably my best yet and I’ve owned the car for 11 years in January (Wow, hard to believe). I honestly beat the shit out of it and all my work proved to stand the test with no problems. Gave the car a wash and pulled it into the garage for the winter. I have some plans for the car this winter based on my experiences and observations with it this year, especially AutoX. I will post regular updates as start the work.
Car looks great! Hope you enjoyed the ride in my buddy’s 9-2x haha

Yeah man it was great meeting you both! I was digging his Saabaru. I used to own an 02 WRX, now I have an 02 Impreza OBS and there’s also an 02 Outback in my drive way which needs Head Gaskets (plan to flip it). Hope to see you guys again at Auto X and some other events next year.
Some updates:
I finally got around to taking apart my Tial waste gate so that I can clock the vacuum ports. One of the ports was actually touching the head (Red Arrow) so I had to grind it during a bit during the original install. That is honestly my complaint about the kit. I choose to deal with it later… Well one of the bolts in the manifold decided to seize (Green Arrow) and took hours to get that bitch out. Lesson learned…always use anti seize on hot turbo parts! I get a pic up when I put everything back together…a small but great win…I have been wanting to fix that for a while.
Like the car man, looks really good!
You said you used the Go-Autoworks manifold for the setup your running? I’m curious which kit did you get; the 3" down pipe w/ log manifold or the 2.5". No clearance issues with the Mishimoto radiator? Have any over-heating issues?
I’ve got the same radiator and am planning on running a GT2560r atm; I have to have a full rad.

Yes, I have Go-Autoworks and I highly recommend their work. It’s a 2.5" down pipe. I have a 2.5" DP and everything post DP is 3", no cat or resonator. I’m curious to hear more about your setup. Which motor? Why not a GT28 series turbo?
Here’s some older pics from my Iphone. Hopefully that helps. No clearance or overheating issues. It runs hot sometimes on hot days, but nothing uncommon.
Clocked the WG and got everything back together. The ports are now flipped to the other side.

The Integra will be hibernate for a little bit while I work on another project. I picked up some Prothane shifter bushings & Radius Rod bushings. Have a few other small items on the way.
Picked this up, a nice addition to the my tool inventory - Mac Tools - AW434B
Paint your engine prop rod orange
Disassembled my rear suspension for a mild overhaul. I’m working through ordering Poly bushings for the Blox LCA’s. New end links, RTA’s and Prothane Tie Rod bushings are ready to go.
It took a few hours to get the compensator arms out without damaging anything but the good news is that I won. I had to cut into the rear seats to get to the sliding bolts. I know my fellow DA/Honda owners feel my pain with this design and I’m so glad that this part of the job is done. I also ordered some stock rear LCA’s and decided to ditch the blox ones, fitting the Poly bushings is not worth it. Once I get those I can put everything back together:
New Rear Trailing Arm bushings
Prothane Rear Control Arm Bushings
ES Rear Shock Mount Bushing Set
New Rear compensator Arms
New Sway Bar End links
Damn! Why were they so hard to remove? Is it just because of the harsh weather you see there?
Those new bushings should be a huge improvement!
I’m betting the weather… We had that issue on a CRX earlier this year.
Makes me so thankful that my car is originally a CA car lol.
Everyone is redoing their suspension this winter… Looks great!

Yup! This was literally the last few bolts on the car that I haven’t replaced yet. Due to them being original to 1992 and the car spending half it’s life out doors in New England the bushings can seize to the bolt. I’m definitely looking forward to installing everything.

You are lucky! Thanks man. I agree, Def some good suspension builds this winter.
I was just about to mention that you can make the ES bushings fit the blox control arms. I’ve done it for a friend of mines who bought busted blox lca and I gave I’m my ES bushings. You will feel a big difference once the bushings on the suspension are all changed.
Yeah that was my original plan, but after looking at what needed to be done I decided to ditch the “bling” LCA’s and go back to OEM. I’m kinda over after market LCA’s…I guess I’m just a purist lol.
