how hard would it be to fit an h4 bulb into the jdm light. im looking to get a pair of hid’s but they only come in h4 style bulbs
look around on this site they got a vendor who sells h4h bulbs kits
yea ive seen them, but thats not what im asking- on ebay they have a kit for 149 shipped which is much cheaper then techone. ect. that has the h4h kits, plus ive seen it in person in a rsx and it looks great.
There’s a bit of cutting involved as an h4 bulb has a bigger mounting/grounding ring around it. It’s also a little further up, causing the bulb to be a little further back. Might not work out that great. Ive cut an h4 for a friend and he said it didn’t come out as bright…
hmmmmm that blows. alright so i guess i wont cheep out and i’ll just find a h4h kit.
omg thnx alot i thought it was going to be a bit more difficult to do thte splicing (the corners dnt work for some reason though(i think i hooked up the wrong one into the socket

Do the fogs/corners need to be rewired or are they simply pnp with the usdm plugs? Im pretty sure I read this entire thread and didnt see any mention either way.
its all pnp with the passwordjdm clip it - it converts the headlight bulb, fogs and corners are simliar to stock. just make sure when u get the password clip u check the order of the wires. (not the case with mine in particular) but i heard that sometimes the wiring is wrong.
Cool. Its the corners and fogs I was concerned with. I got the passwordjdm harnesses. I wont be needing the plugs from the 1pc’s for the corner or fog lamps then?

i believe its the clip for the back of the jdm headlight.- password jdm also has that harness…

lol. well i already installed them. looks ALOT cleaner. but does anyone know how to mess with the fog switch so the fogs stay on when the parking brakes are on? wanna do this tonight. thanks
So, I installed my 1pc’s today after having them sit in my closet for like 2 months…and I think I might be retarted. I’m sure I installed them wrong, but cant figure out wtf I did wrong.
I’ve searched but I cant seem to find anyone who had answers to the problem I’ve got.
Heres the deal. The high/low beams work just fine thanks to a password jumper. The problem is I dont seem to have enough plugs for the remaining sockets, so I can either have fogs or corners, but not both.
Heres the plug/socket setup:
The plugs on the original harness were the high/low, fogs (white plug, two vertical pins), corners (orange or brown plug, two horizontal pins) and blinkers (orange or brown plug, one horizontal one vertical pin). The corner and blinker plugs are shaped similarly.
The sockets on the JDM 1 pieces are the high/low, fogs (two horizontal sockets), and corners (two horizontal sockets).
The plug for the us fogs seems to be a different type than the socket for jdm fogs, but the plug for the us corners fits the jdm fog socket. Thats what I’m running now, but I know its wrong. Is the us fog plug supposed to fit the jdm fog socket? Its not the same type and I’m pretty sure it has vertical sockets vs the horizontal sockets on the jdm lights.
Like I said I know this is my fuckup but I cant figure out exactly whats wrong. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
