My Endlessss Integra Addiction!

Thanks Drew, I’m gonna order that bad boy up so I’m prepared when I replace my windshield and roof skin

 good stuff man.

I just bought a DA9 and I’m loving your thread! Thanks heaps for sharing!

Thank you guys! It means so much! I have another small update and there will be another one after this, once I receive the Hiro spoiler brackets!! I’m so excited !

Finally found some legitimate stickers to put on my Michelins from tirestickers.com Hopefully they last a little while. They took longer than I expected to put on because I had to use a little heat to help them apply better  but they do flex with the sidewall. So that is great!

Purchased a Cusco front lower tie bar from Dustiin(Teg Youngin). Guy is hella cool and I think his teg was lower than mine, because it needs a little tlc  lol

Did some sanding, became a smurf

Got some paint matched at Sherwin Williams

Turned out great and the match is superb ! Cant wait to put it on

and pardon the photo quality if it’s terrible. I am taking all of these with my phone haha

lol

Haha what

There was a bunch of spam that has been deleted. I don’t think he was lol’ing you.

Have a nice day.

Haha yea dude, im glad it got deleted. It sure was annoying :stuck_out_tongue:

Is the Suspension Techniques sway bar still in there? Was there ever any issues?

Wow, I really need to update this! Lol. Yes, I kept the Suspension Technique sway bar on. It also has ES bushings in the end-links. It fits great actually. Correct me if im wrong but its only a 19mm vs the stock 17mm. Maybe its made out of a stronger steel though?

Thanks
-Drew

Time to EBAY turbo dat ish, SON! Woo-hoo!

Super Massive Crazy Update coming because its been over a year since I’ve updated this lol

The suspense! :hyper:

Haha okay everyone! The time is finally here! I’ve found some time and energy to update this build thread  I will start right where I left off,
Hope you guys enjoy! Peace

The mounting brackets arrived for the JDP hiro wing! super excited lol . I bought a set in Stainless steel and a set with Zinc coating

Stainless Steel

Zinc coated steel

Removed the oem spoiler

Glued the mounting pads on

annnddddd Installed! Took a little bit to get it adjusted how I wanted

Got a few goodies for the GS-R before everything is discontinued. oem headlight bulbs, gs-r emblem, some labels, and a few gaskets

Ordered some Magnesium Blue center caps for Volks from Evasive Motorsports, and wheel stickers too. Lol actually had to verify my wheels were real before I could order them…

They Arrived!! Purchased these beautiful wheels from Colin  packaged all safe and sound too

Volk CE28n 15x7.0 +35 offset

Gave them a nice coat of paste wax

Valve stems too

DC2 TypeR Spoon calipers came in from ICB motorsports. The owner, Matt is pretty cool

Some up-close pics  love the ability to change pads quickly

Test fit! All I had to do for this part, was cut the brake dust shield tabs off. a dremel worked perfectly

Speed Bleeders! An absolute must to make everything quicker and more simple

The Mini Cooper non Type S rotors arrived so that installation could begin

EBC Yellowstuff brake pads. Great pads and follows the Spoon theme. Had to trim them a little for fitment

I used feeler gauges (in millimeters) to check the distance between rotor and caliper. Ultimately went with the recommended DC2 setup. Which uses 2 washers where the brake calipers are bolted up. This gave me the most even pad to rotor distance on both brake pads.

ATE Super Blue

Took awhile to bleed the calipers, like everyone says lol. Even with the speed bleeders but I was able to do it myself this way

My old wheels  I miss them dearly but they went to a good home and I used the money for tattoo work haha

Was actually able to carry all 4 in the GSR . Got some Nitto NT05 mounted and balanced

Some Volk Formula racing lug nuts to complete the setup and safe guard the wheels

on the ground

Theres only a few mils of clearance between the wheels and Spoon calipers lol

sooooo much brake dust!!!

Since I had owned the car, there was an issue with the radiator fans. They would stay running All the time. The second I turned the key, they would kick on. First thing I did was check relays and every single one was good. Then I thought its got to be a sensor, but which one? So 90-91 Integras had a fan switch(coolant temp) and an Oil temperature sensor on the back of the block. Either one could be bad I assumed. The oil temp switch would run the fans even after the engine was shut off, if the oil was determined, too hot. I decided to replace the Coolant sensor first, and it ended up being the bad one. Problem fixed  Taking the sensors out…losing fluids. Then testing each with a multimeter would of been a bit of a hassle. So thats why I went this route

The old one !!!

Getting some professional photos for the first time

Always working on Integras

All taped up and ready to head to Concord, NC for HondaDay last year at the ZMAX Dragway. I was lucky enough to get selected for the Group A vip

Parked at the show and time to clean her up

View from the top of the bleachers

Here are the professional photos from the First shoot, that I submitted to Honda Day.

Rolling into the event. Parking under the bleachers

I had soo much fun at Honda Day Zmax with friends and all of the cool people that I met both days; its hard to even begin to explain.
I was lucky enough to take home 1st place in the 90-93 Integra category and I was absolutely astonished and stoked! All of the hard work, time, and hope finally paid off with a little appreciation and it felt very nice  being that this was the first time my car won anything and I didnt expect it at all lol

After all of this. Some tattoo appointments came up that I had been waiting a year for. I had talked with my artist about doing my car because of his skill and quality of work/detail. So I went ahead and got Todd Wilson of Studio 22 in Anderson, SC to tattoo my Integra on me. I love the tattoo personally, it is very meaningful to me. I love 90-93 Integras. Its the only car I have ever owned, and I am on my 4th one now. So I am certain that I will always have a DA in my life, for the rest of my life. Thats my reasoning anyhow. Many love it and a few hate it
I will also add that the piece needs about 1 more hour to be complete. This is 4 hours of work right here

And here is a tandem burnout with me and a close friend

ohh, and also the Spoon speedo hit 4,000 kmh

ohh, and , and also hahaha here is one favorite that I took with my phone

I have a slight buz right meow, but stay tuned for moar updates

Tattoo is sick man spot on detail and design
