Holy crap. If Iām doing the math right Iām getting 11.6K Front/13.3K Rearā¦that is reaaally stiff. Also normally you run stiffer in the front on front wheel drive. Iām curious to know more about the setup as Iām looking to order something soon. I was originally thinking 12k front/10k rear or 10k front/8k rear. Whatās your email? I can send you my questionsā¦ I donāt want take over your thread. Thanks - Jon
what kind of wheels ar those as well as the size? Those look good.
Yeah I like a stiffer set up. I wanted to go to a 550f/450r but after talking with ground control thatās the setup they recommended for what I was gonna use it for. As to why Iām running stiffer springs in the rear is to incourage oversteer, since fwd naturally understeer it evens it out and gives more of a neutral feel to the car. My email is duatinmcqueary@yahoo.com.
I love this car. Where did you get the strut bar (not sure what ya call it) in the back? Also the stearing wheel?
I made the x bar in the back. The steering wheel is nardi and the rims are sprint hart cpfās all the info on the car is throughout the thread if you have anymore questions.
:thumbs up:

Sorry man! I havent really been out in the shop to work on the teg or to do anything out there itās been the triple digits here for the last week so its hard to work on the car without burning up. I get the pics out to you though soon!
Thanks Redtegra! Itās coming along slowly but surely!
So a bit of a bad update, feel like Iām going backwards with this carā¦ Last weekend I was outside working on my teg in the shop, and my brother was over with his friend working on his truck. Well when they were done my brother was showing him my car, and his friends 8 year old daughter was there too. So I was working in the back of the car and I heard a loud bangā¦Obviously my car was hit by something but how bad. Well I get up and see the jack handle leaning against my fender. the guys daughter leaned out the handle and it hit the car pretty good. Scratched down to the primer and put a good sized dent about 2-3 inches long. So Iām pretty devastated about it but I sent it back to the paint shop that did the car and the guy is paying to get it completely resprayed after I explained to him how much I paid for the paint job, at first he was a little hesitant. Anyways heres some pics of it. Pics are kinda blurry since they were taken from my phone.
Had to put something to express how I felt. lol
Fender off for the paint shopā¦
Put this one the car to try something to protect it. Donāt know why this pic made me look like I have a gut going on. haha
Anyways itās obviously very frustrating that it happened, and that some people dont understand or canāt see the countless hours of polishing and cleaning and tweaking parts, and prepping that I have put into this car. I guess its just part of the saying blood sweat and tearsā¦
Blood is fineā¦ When itās of the people who are careless around the carā¦
In all seriousness, that sucks man. The shop will get you all squared away though!
I really canāt get enough of this build thread. Just purley amazing with such passion and dedication to ones own pride and joy. Looking forward to more progress Teg Youngin.
Hey guys got something special for you! Hopefully this does it for ya! I rolled her out today so I could take a look at her in the sun and see how she looked! Needless to say Iām extremely happy with it! It was the first time its seen daylight for the first time in like 2-3 months when it was dropped off.
