damn props to you man, my car doesn’t even have that much rust and i’m ready to junk the shell and find a new one, that pillar looks like it will be alot of fun haha.
why didn’t the rain gutters and rear hatch seams get blasted looks like theres some rust at the top of the hatch just curious.
def subscribed can’t wait to see how this all comes together, let me know about the rack conversion kit.
Make sure to grind off all the paint everytime you weld too. I see you did it a couple times, but do it everytime, both on the front and back side of the weld area. That way the your welds won’t get contaminated and you won’t have nasty, harmful smoke. Otherwise, do work sonn!

When I send it back to the shop for coating… he is going to blast all the paint off and everything… but there is no rust up there… it is just the picture i guess.
I will let you know ASAP about the conversion kit… I already have everything but the bushings… lost my job… so I gotta wait till I can get the funds to start buying things :)… patching is free
Thanks man! Yea, we try to remember as much as possible, lol… haven’t had any of the smoke yet… so we will see… tmrw hopefully is a nice day, so lots of work gets done.
Can’t wait to see your K-DA :read:

Also, my brother, Saubir, was working on his amp rack today for the TL… here are a few pictures
We have decided to seam weld the entire chassis for extra chassis reinforcement.
I found a write up from a guy in Japan that builds track cars for a living.
We are gonna go through with it. We figure go big or go home.
If anybody is interested in the write up, I can post it here, or shoot me an email at nawaaz_k1@yahoo.ca or all_starr23@hotmail.com and I can send it to you.
I will keep you guys updated on everything … this should be fun.
if you stitch weld the whole thing, i DEMAND there be a separate thread so its glory can be marveled
Where’s the updates?! Can you post the link to that stitch welding write up please?
It’s back! lol.
Things weren’t the greatest for a little bit… but Im back in action!

Well… Here are the good pictures!!!
Bodywork this weekend!!!
Through the trunk is where the fuel will be poured through… the fuel cell will be in there, so I am gonna get it run sorta like this
Except to the top of the hatch so its easy and quick to fill.
I am getting RKS Fuel Systems to build the Fuel cell and fuel rail and that. Local company, great guys! 3rd sponsor
Well… I havent been taking pictures… but thought I would give a quick update
I just made my appointment to get this place (amazing painter)
To paint interior, engine bay, and certain parts of this car
