I’ve been making ICUs for “EF” Civics and CRXs for a few years. Several folks asked me to make one for the “DA” Integra. My first Integra ICU has been installed and validated in a second gen Integra. I am happy to report that everything is working as intended so now I can offer my first four production units for sale.
For this first batch of Integra ICUs there will be no core fee so you can keep your old ICU. The flip side to that is that these four ICUs will not include the plastic enclosure so you will need to swap it into your existing ICU enclosure.
In addition, and only for these first four units, I am providing a one year money back return policy. As long as it is still in one piece I will accept a return for any reason and provide a full refund if you send it back within one year.
I would really like to sell these first four units to folks that drive their Integra as their daily driver so they can provide meaningful long term validation and feedback. I really want to hear about your experience with the ICU and you can message me or post your feedback here so everyone can see.
The normal price for an Integra ICU will be $169 plus shipping and a core fee, The core fee might be higher, but otherwise the same as the EF Civic/CRX ICUs I have been selling for the past two years. The discounted price for the first four units is $149 plus $6 for shipping. I accept PayPal. Message me if you are interested.
FYI - I’m not charging a core fee but if you have a failed ICU (including the case) lying around that you don’t need I would really appreciate it if you could send it to me and I will refund $6 to cover the postage.
I only posted here. Four (plus the first one I gave away in return for testing) is all there are at the moment. I will wait a few months to make sure they are not failing prematurely before I decide if I am going to make more so no need to post elsewhere at the moment. I’ll send you a PayPal invoice what email address should I enter when creating the invoice?
The system will remember this delay time. If the switch is off for less than one second or more than one minute, it will reset to the default delay.
Key Reminder Tone Mute option.
When the door is open and the key is left in the ignition the car normally alerts you that you are forgetting your key with a series of beeps. You can disable the key reminder by pressing the door open sensor button three times in rapid succession to mute the key reminder tone. You will hear one two second tone to acknowledge the command and then the beeping will stop. The key reminder is automatically re-enabled the next time you insert and turn the key.
Oh man does it expire? I will get to it soon. I haven’t had a chance to check that email. (I cannot do that stuff until I login from my home computer).
