Did a lil bit more clean up on the IMF… i pulled off whatever that big vacume thing was on the front of it, and replaced the coolant line that went thru that mess of lines. ill post some pics in a while

a little turbo like that will spool way before 4500. have your looked at the compressor map to see how well it will mactch your engine and goals?

precision doesnt release compressor maps, not sure why… Anyway, heres some pics of the stuff i removed. The bolt thats in the IMF now is temporary untill the B manifold goes on.

Hey man, good looking car! Its good to see someone else around here with a nice g2, there are a couple here in IC but most are all junked out. If you need any help or possibly some parts let me know!

Been awhile since i updated this, but i finally lowered the car!!! heres whats its lowered on:

EG struts w/ skunk2 lowering springs in the rear
DA struts w/ skunk2 slip on coil-overs up front (6kg/mm)
Rides REALLY smooth, and not bumpy at all!

6 in the morning on my way to the omaha zoo:

Next day on our way home, early afternoon:

Today i had my dad build me a mock-up intercooler so i can test fit it and cut the bumper to fit. Should be doing that this weekend. The intercooler ill be using is a 28x7x2.5, getting it from chasebays.com. Heres a pic of the mock-up, (keep in mind its for test fit)

I also went ahead and replaced both my water pump and T-belt, old one was stretched by almost 1/2in!!! Car runs alot smoother now

Good that you did your t-belt and water pump. That engine bay of yours is really super white, it really stands out. I really like the mock up intercooler your dad build for you, it’s neat and clean. GOOD for you…

Hey thx man. Ill also be buyin a B16 cable trans here in a lil bit. $250 picked up!!! My stock clutch is startin to slip as well, hopin it makes it thru winter at least.

been way to long since i updated. Got my Amber LED fog lights in the mail the other day, but they were REALLY dim. So i pulled the housings and put them in the oven at 250 for 5mins, while they were still hot i pulled them apart and pulled the light deflector piece out. pushed them back together and they went back in the oven for a few mins. Then let them cool off inside for about 10mins. Now they are a lot brighter!!! the light itself dont protrude out very well, but its just meant to look cool. heres a few pics:

After, day time pics. ill post up better ones later:

looking good.arent you worried that all that stuff you took off the intake might mess something up? its gotta be there for a reason. only thing missing in my eyes is a sunroof visor and rear mudflaps.good build

When you swap intake manifolds/throttle bodies, 90% of that crap gets deleted anyway. OBD0 cars have a ton more hoses than OBD1 G2s… And even less when you start removing the un-necessary stuff.

Mostly what it will affect is cold starting and cold idle.

better pic:

Its been really nice here for about a week so i decided to put my wheels on yesterday tell me what you guys think:

wheels made a big difference.looks great.good build.keep up the pics.

So i got off work a lil early today and decided to go get cat-back put on the car finally… Its crush bent but i like the look and the sound. It consists of 2 1/2in piping, 18in resonator in the middle, and another 12in resonator before the back tire. Ill post some pics and a video clip when i get some time.

heres a few pics and a short start up video:

Cold start, small rev:
