the advantages of the full race kit is their manifolds, the really make power, and the backdoor intercoolers really help too with shorter i/c pipes, i would love to buy a full race but $3500 is alot of money. if i dont hit my goal, im saving up for a full race mani and d/p.
the backdoor i/c are neat, and good for power. but i like the appearance of the double sided intercooler better. w/e…gotta have priorities. I dont know as much about turbo setups yet, so i figured buyin a kit would be good because i would have everything i need. if i pieced one together, it would probably be missing parts. how much do you plan on spending on the turbo setup alone?
$2200, turbo, intercooler, piping, couplers/clamps, 3" exhaust, manifold, 3" D/P, RC 650’s, oil lines, BOV, and a GM 3-bar. and its all good quality stuff, the turbo is still what im undecided about, i can get a fresh rebuilt one for $489, or i can get a brand new precision turbo with the 360bearings for $780.
don’t get the rebuilt one. its a bad idea. the sounds like a good price for a setup like that… does that $2200 include the turbo in question?
yes add 300 for the precision
