New Turbo, Down Pipe and Manifold

Here are some pics of my new manifold, turbo and down pipe

My goal is 700 wheel hp. I hope to have it finished before the track opens (april 1)

You can keep the AC with this downpipe and manifold, I believe, but I dont have it any way.

Havn’t people gotten more than 700 hp with more traditional manifolds?

The manifold has nothing to do with me reachin 700 hp. I was looking for a manifold that would put the turbo off to the side. That way when I run the Air/Water Intercooler, there will be little piping.

there will be more piping for the IC, isnt that the most important if ur spending 4 g’s on a turbo setup? Also u will need to notch the crossmember a lot or get the Innovative, EMG??? racing traction bar that replaces the crossmember. There is no way that that will clear it.

How are u making 700 hp? Filled block on 12:1 at 30 psi? that is pretty much wut u would have to do.

Easy way for 700 who is just get a 600 shot of nitro on stock internals. I hear stock can take at least a 1000 shot.

Lay off the guy. Just because he doesn’t list out every detail such as notching the cross member doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what is going on. If he was able to get this far then I’m sure he knows what to do to finish off the project and have a capable bottom end.

The bottom end is a Dart block, CP pistons, Crower Rods, Eagle crank. 30+ psi on a GT4088R.

B16 Head, Type R cams, Ferrea Valves, Type R valve Springs.

That is the motor. Plus I will be spraying it.

As for the crossmember, I will be using the traction bar from full-race.

the gap between the dp and the manifold seems very little, would it cause some rattling metal-metal sound ??

I dont think it would. He said he has sold many of these with no complants and they have a lifetime warrenty. Besides, not to be a dick, but it looks very sturdy and rigid.

I wanna see that bad boy when its in the car! Your gonna have to put a warning sign so nobody is tempted to touch that ENORMOUS DP!!! Lol, I can just see it, “wow that downpipe is just huge, what size is th…AHHHHHHHHH MY HAND”. Or maybe Im the only one dumb enough to do something like that.

dart block good for you expensive but amazing i know a dude running a drag civic and hes running 30 psi as well on a dart… Just sick keep up the good work looks great

Right not im just gunna use my LS tranny, untill it blows. Then I will prolly look into something built.

I really dont like people that have other people do work on their cars, just a bug of mine. Especially a turbo setup. An engine build is understandable. I am just telling small stuff that wont be drop-and-go. But if i had money, i would make some1 do that shit for me.

ud better make at least 500 whp on that especially with spray.

If I were u i would just do boost since u have probably over 6k in the turbo setup. But u will have trouble hitting boost. Just dont run a vtec cable trans on it.

if u stay cable, keep the ls. I was told that the b16 trans maxes out at 125. U should run over 125 in the 1/4 with that and should want to go faster than that.
