I recommend to anyone considering to go nitrous to first research it. There’s a lot of factors to be considered, like nitrous pressure, purging, fuel delivery, having a healthy motor etc…etc… Things that you should not skimp on.
Get to know what your getting into, nitrous can be really fun to be on but at the same time if not used right it can cause major issues.

I’m thinking of a wet 100 shot, I’m going to be buying colder spark plugs (but which ones to get?) and a walbro 255lph fuel pump. Is there anything else I should do or know? Will I need ARP rod bolts with a 100 shot? Will I need them if I go 150shot?

this is as true as it gets right here.
I’ve been using nitrous for years now. You have to respect it and understand it ,along with understand how it works.
I too used to use the spray. 150 shot Quad Fogger fuel and nitrous. The only way to go if you want to have that little safty net with the extra fuel added with the nitrous. But it was fun for a while and the bottle gets too expencive and well I just went to Turbo!!! and Nitrous…

Damn time has flown, just barely got my bottle warmer installed, 3yrs later lol.
Im looking at doing a single fogger 55 shot on my lsvtec (12.2:1 compression, arp rod bolts, rods shot peened, acl bearings, p30 pistons, everything balanced crank micro polished, arp head studs, gsr oil pump, Buddy club spec 3+ cams, supertech valvetrain) The motor has 6,500 miles on it, so i am looking at going for safety. I can get ahold of a set of 330cc injectors and a walbro pump.
Whats do you guys say?
Its either run a shot or spend the money and get a 3mm Headgasket and pick up a turbo setup.
I ran Nos once, and loved it. Our motors for some reason loves it, but like said, it can also do bad to the motor if used wrong. I ran 50 shot with purging, dry and hooked to the OE intake tube, worked great till i forgot to turn the system off one day and my grandmother ended up in the back seat…lol
Was thinking of going back, but only time would tell.
Isaac, to answer your question, it shouldn’t hurt with 55 shot.

from what ive learned the last few months since i got nitrous is that for most people dry is the way to go for low shot and good reliable power… wet requires extremely fine tuning and proper parts and what not…
i have a direct port seperate fuel pump and fuel cell 250 shot wet nitrous kit wit 4 foggers rated from 75shot to 250shot… no bs can post pics… but i am unsure on how to build motor accordingly… i was told 10:1 compression would be optimal but i was told at higher shot lower compression is better… any insights?? i am going to use hondata s300 for nitrous by gear but just wondering whats the ideal compression ratio?? and also N/A cams or turbo cams?
but back to basic nitrous just get the dry 75shot for around 400

I had a B16 with a mild polish on a gsr head I/h/e obdo tuned on bre. I ran 550 rc injectors and a 255 fuel pump on e85. I had a bottle warmer which made a huge difference. The kit itself I made from from nos jegs and a few other places, It consisted of a wot switch , rpm window switch a two timer in the ecuthat kicked over to the nitrous tune when the wot switch and rpm window switch were satified. it was a complete bitch to get dialed in but I made 148 all motor and 229 on a 50 shot, If theres any interest the is a picassa link with a wiring diagram and dyno slip on one of my other posts. I was only able to get 7000 out of the buid before the car was rearended and totalled the engine is currently untuned and off spray in my em1, It was FUN while it lasted, regretably It never seen a quarter run.
currentlly running a dual stage zex shot totaling a 135hp shot…one stage is dry and one stage is wet…both stages are completelly hidden lol
stock motor other than the cheap bolt on’s…good clutch…cut out and crome ecu with a walbro 255fuel pump stock injectors…i usually run a mix of c16
race gas or leaded 110octane if im going to run the big wet shot…first stage dry shot is just a 50shot…probally going to be adding a water/meth kit into the mix
soon i dont have too keep buying the expesive race gas…sometimes car is on stock rims sometimes it’s on drag radials,depending on my mood

Hopefully soon I’ll be at a 200 shot progressively controlled with a water/meth kit. Can’t wait but have other priorities right now so it’s on the back burner…
im going for a 200shot in my h22 drag car prelude on e98 fuel…
im dynoing the car this friaday…it’s a dual stage shot set-up as well
one single fogger wet and a direct port dry shot…
my fun summer car mr2sc is on a single wet shot 50hp along with the 12psi of supercharger…
thinking about adding a 2nd stage to that car as well…
