What are you kidding… I know some guys down in front of HD that can do it in a week

beautiful pictures by the way… how was MC? I’ve always wanted to go

Schu,
Thanks, it was great! My Spanish is pretty good but far from fluent, and with my translator (Fiancee), it was a very unique experience. Mexico City is so far south that really I was looked at like a freak when I walked the streets!

In all honesty, I was overwhelmed with how poor that part of the world really is. As much as people kid about Tijuana, the fact of the matter is, the closer to the US a Mexican City is, the more you can SEE the money. People are very desperate, but very happy! That was strange to see.

In general, I learned that most Americans are unhappy with too much!
J.

that last statement is all to realistic jason… very sad but true.

Like a great warrior once said… “wars not make one great”… things not make one happy

J. When I went to Haiti (not Hades :stuck_out_tongue: ) it was unbelievable to see people living in those kinds of conditions. Their “homes” were the size of a walk in closet with no door or floor. It really makes you think about how good most everyone in America really has it, but most people are too blinded by the American standard of living to see it.

Here are some mine which are not so recent…

This one’s right here in the city

The next ones are all in Cuba…

Money. I like how the bug stands out.

great pics! the bug pic really is sweet.

this one is my fav so far.

I have some new shots, but they’re all stuck on my desktop. Stole that monitor to use as a second screen on the newer laptop for some Illustrator work. A tad OT for ‘Photography’, but here ya go. Pardon the hasty chop of company logos + names.

It’s a 30x40 poster. Shitload of text, but that wasn’t my choice to make.

here’s one that I like.

I’m such a novice…

Very nice. I’ve never taken a sunset or sunrise shot that I like. jealous

@ the getty,

Amazing shots everyone, truly impressed despite already knowing the talent that was possessed by all of you.

Sunsets are harder for me, not so easy to get a good vantage point here. I know its possible I just haven’t put much effort into finding a good spot.

E-DA9 Wow man that sunset picture is crazy, from the reflection off of the water it looks like the sky is on fire.
