heres a vid, made 235 whp and 210 torque on 5.5 lbs. not bad for a customized greddy kit. also theres pics of my car and stuff during tuning, i have a shitload of building my head, doin turbo install and everything, if anyone needs help with swapping a gsr motor in a teg or wiring or building a head and all adjustments or turbo install, let me know, i did all this work myself just by simply reading, reading, and reading some more, i have all the car manuals for my car which i have studied over and over again so im pretty knowledgeable on this stuff. enjoy

what are the measurements on that intercooler. it looks amazing, sits behind the grill perfectly, i’ve got one for my car to be turboed this spring, and it’ll fit pretty closely to that, not as long from tank to tank though. yours looks perfect.
i am also wondering what intercooler you are running. and mesurements.
hey guys, thanks on the coments, ya i love my intercooler fitment is awsome and it works soo good, its a jrc 30 x 8 x 2 or 3 i believe, it can be found on ebay for relatively cheap. the intercooler works soo good that even my intake manifold becomes cool to the touch on cold nights, and this is crazy cuase before i went turbo i couldnt even touch the intake manifold cuase it was soo dang hott. well keep the comments coming and the questions. i like when people are interested in my setup and i love to help u guys out, i want more people with DA’s to be turboed. i never see turbo DA’s around and it would be good if we can get some more cruisin the streets. oh by the way i get told by everyone that my car is the sweetest sleeper ever, cuase its swapped with a sweet motor, slightly built, its turboed, but it doesnt look like anything crazy or anything that u would expect to have a jdm gsr in let alone a turbo, but it still looks decent u know. gtg ttyl guys thanks again
Im seeing more and more great numbers with than greddy kit. I personally always hated them but my mind is turning around. Good job. cant wait to see 10psi
im hopefully gonna redyno and retune next week with more booooost. im gonna go up to whatever i have to so that i can hit 250whp, im also retuning cuase im running too rich i think and im washing my piston rings and getting some fuel in my oil, so im gonna prob. end up at like 7psi with perfect 11.8 air fuel ratio all the way across. i’ll keep u guys updated, i wanna make a vid of me crusing soon also. im also putting a new tranny in, dont know if i wanna stay ls or go b16 but its gonna be lsd either way then do some nice drag radials, fix my bad camber and hopefully be a lot faster. i wanna do low 13’s with this setup maybe even high 12’s.
yeah i need to fix my bad camber as well. good luck. just had a buddy of mine that put down 260 whp and 228tq. felt pretty damn strong. You will enjoy.

what are the specs on your kit, i know of the intercooler. but what about the things as far as manifold, BOV etc. i had, emphasis on HAD a greddy TD08 turbo with a custom manifold with equal-length pipes. was gonna buy a turboXS wastegate for it, not sure how well it would work though. anyway, all the stuff i mentioned was stolen back in early november.

hey all, about my manifold, everything is just from the stock greddy kit with the addition of custom fmic piping and, the fmic, the turbo xs blow off valve, 550cc injectors, and crome chipped p28 computer, oh and im using stealthmode oil lines. oh and i also have a turbo xs manual boost controller. other than that, the manifold and turbo and downpipe is all from the greddy kit. i get full spool by like 3200 rpm’s, real nice kit for low end power, real good pull up to top of third, 4th and 5th gear aint as good but still decent. im using a ls tranny by the way. hope this helps. oh and i turned the boost up, im runnin 8 lbs now and everything is goin good, i bought these freeze plugs for the back of my block to relieve crankcase pressure, i noticed my blowby problems went away and everything feels strong, i’d say im pushin close to 260whp or so, i got a real good mide 11’s air fuel ratio which i constantly watch with my aem wideband guage. remember i got arp head studs and a cometic head gasket which slightly loweres my compression, im prob. im takin my motor out in 3 weeks for a full rebuild, i got all my parts, cp 9:1 pistons, eagle rods, and acl bearings. cant wait. i dont know if im keepin this turbo kit or goin with a peak boost kit for more power.

did you have to do any cutting to get that jrc 8" to fit? i like that one in particular but i dont want to hack my bumper support all to hell
hey i had to cut the whole center part of my bumper support and take it off only leaving the ends of it where the mounting bolts go in. other than that it fit real well and bumper is still strong and not flimsy ur pretty much gonna have to cut somethin for any decent sized front mount intercooler. good luck i took some more pics of my car today i’ll post them up later. im sellin my whole greddy kit by the way minus ecu and my wideband guage and boost controller, everything else is included less than 4k miles on it runs good, no oil leaks in turbo and very clean. sellin it for $1,400 or $1,650 with my skunk 2 intake manifold for gsr motor. this will fit a ls motor as well. let me know, email me at waleegator@netscape.net
