Well with a slick/street legal tire, you can get away with qutie a bit of power on the street. I make about 500whp at high boost and I generally drive around on high boost. 1st gear is useless obviosuly, but I don’t know of any car where 1st egar doesn’t have issues on the street when making decent powe over stock.
Very True!!! What kind of slicks/wheel combo do you run at the track?
I think Im going to stick with my 17" ROJA’s for the street and maybe a set of weld wheels, but Im still undecided on slick size
Actually I’m a believer of waht I run on the track, I run on the street, vice versa. On the track I race on the same setup. 225/45/17 drag radials. Yep… drag racing on 17’s… going fast and lookin good… hahaha. If I throw slicks on I’m sure I can cut mid to low 11’s no prob.

That is the current setup. I am currently BROKE!!! So I am trying to save and sell some parts to get a fuel system, intercooler, and clutch.

Does anyone have some installed pics of the SSAC ( XSPower ) kit ? I need to see an installed setup of it before we start throwing mine in, wondering if I need to cut another chunk of IC piping, where the turbo sits / how it fits.

well…this is pathetic after seeing tchleung’s set up but im happy that i have took the first step on my journey of a thousand miles. just picked up an intercooler that i have mounted on my wall in my room to keep me motivated. also got dsm 450cc injectors and have been researching the hell out of turbo da set ups. any advice/tips (especialy on half radiators)? awsome setups guys!!
Tchleung do you run your car in ashcroft?
gsrpitt: This year is about the same for the bottom end, sleeved GSR block, 84.5mm 9:1 CP pistons, eagle rods etc etc. BUt most changes were made to the head. Portflow race port head, 3 angle valve grind, ST valves alnog with my exiciting ST valve train. I must say, this new setup flows a ton of air. Power wise, I’d lke to see 550whp on a conservative tune.

i got rid of my a/c, and p/s so i can still use my full length rad. i have never had overheating issues, it runs about the exact same temps as pre turbo.
