I have a question in regards to your relocation of the pcv valve. Could you just leave it where it is in stock form and then run a hose over to the catch can or is it better to put it next to the can. Also if it is better next to the catch can then what is done with the hole in the intake manifold? Do you just remove the pcv valve and run the tube from the back of the block to the pcv right next to the can?
let me get this right, do u still used the pcv valve or not? or do u just connect the house the the black filter box in the back of the block?

Look at the pics on the first page. The PCV is on top of the can. Crankcase vapours are drawn out of the block, through a hose, and into the catch can. They exit the catch can through a PCV.
I imagine the relocated PCV is less likely to get plugged since the catch can is trapping most of the oil.
