progrees pics of turbo install

Just wondering how can you guys tell the crossmember is bad by the pictures? I cant see anything. Anyone want to photoshop a finger pointing to it or something? lol

my downpipe comes out on the opposite side, i’ve only seen the way you have yours turned on like 2 other cars… weird… anywho this is what i mean by take it to a muffler shop and let em do it… i know its ugly but it does the job.

about clocking the turbo…just put some heat to it. Put a torch on the center section, vise her down and rotate. A T4 turbo with that size ic wont last for long. Why would you even get a straight t4 without building the motor and running more boost. setup looks good for a beginner but please sell the ic and get a longer one. and you may want to get alot of that piping welded up soon. I use to have a setup with a bunch of couplings and I pulled over the side of the road to tighten then up at least 2 times a week.

you dont need photo shop, you cant miss that shit.

Oh now I see it. I didnt think to look for it disassembled from the car. I suck. Yeah thats some pretty messed up junk.

it doesnt look like a t4, i think hes got it confused with a t3o4 the mount looks like a t3.

the turbo is a t4 with a t3 flange its a t04b garrett and yes it think its 2 big but i dont know i guess i’ll have to wait and see what happens and i did get some plates welded on my cross member and it looks pretty sturdy now but this is my first turbo kit and i hope it atleast boosts for now
turbo specs are .60 on compressor side .84 on hot side

^that my freind is just a t3…t3/t4 hybrid but that is not a big turbo at all. But a t4 does.

cool well when i baught it they said it was a t4 with a t3 flange but it doesnt really matter as long as it spools and makes power

sorry for the miss spell but i have been in a big hurry lately between work and trying to get my car going but i was going to ask if anbody has any pics of how they have their ic piping ran b/c since i turned my turbo around i have to find a new way to run it and it is being difficult so i am needing some help

Be careful your crankcase will be pressurized under boost (valve cover purge nipple connected to IC piping after turbo) Unless you have something else to cover that issue that my noob eye hasn’t seen.

Get a catch can and put a breather on valve cover or reroute hose before turbo.

yeah im going to use that nipple for my boost gauge and i already had a mini filter hooked up on the valve cover i just havent put it back on yet and my buddy is making me a oil catch this week

and here is how i decided to rerun my ic piping

lookin good, but i got a question, is your bumper support gonna be able to clear that, im sure your gonna have to hack yours like i did too, but i cant see from the pics how thin the fmic is.

your gonna have lots lots lots of dirt if you place your filter right at the turbo inlet. get an extension if you can

well i have a jdm bumper support and it fits right over it and also i need to get some kind of filter for sure but i did get it going last night and man is it fast i mean it was spinning all the way through 2nd and starting to spin in 3rd but then it kinda started craping out after 1st it’s like it screams through 1st then when you get half way through second it starts craping out real bad but it wasnt doing it at first but i dont have an o2 sensor at the moment or a missing link so could either of those be the problem??? thanks in advance
