project 400 wheel hp DA

hey i came back from europe and new york. so i had not posted anything in a while, but i did a couple of mods i havent tuned the car yet, anyone know a welder? in los angeles are 90255?
i did my own diy tie bar so my 22mm sway bar would not rip out my chasis , i also took of all the sound detning off, pain in the ass and painted the interior. hope to have the car running by end of this month.

Anymore pics of that right exit exhaust?

magnaflow strait 3 inch it cost like 60 bucks

Ah cool, I was jsut curious to see how you cut the bumper. Thanks!

Very nice job! You should have painted the engine bay white or a lighter color to set off the engine since you did the wire tuck so your engine would look like it’s floating…

if that tie bar holds up, its better than any commercial one out there because its diy

lol that exhaust cutout looks like a rat chewed it

hey there should be no reason why it should not hold up it takes all the pressure of the sub-frame and puts it on the bar, there was this thread somewhere i will look for it which explain how the force of the bar will work or something like that, i also put bolt through the sub frame for extra support. just for you "XDEep " i will fix that on tuseday

what motor

im trying to get 600 on an ls on race gas

fuel system

what fuel system you got what kind or brand is a good one for track and street

jdmontheway: If you are planning on running 600whp, you’re really gonig to be limiting yourself as there are not many intake fuel pumps that flow that much. At that power level, I’d think about gonig to external pump like Aeromotive

Use two pumps, in tank and inline together…more than enough

my friend let me borrow his uncle welder its a lincoln 125 plus, so i started to do my own downpipe, now i know why manifolds are expensive, and time consuming, to do any feedback is welcome, one thing can i penatrate this material with the welder ?

no 3" elbows/bends?

mig or fluxcore? i guess you just gotta be careful with that aluminized steel, it burns through easy.

i re did the downpipe but i have no room to fit a u bend in there or even the angle i need it to so i did the pie cuts

wow you are amazing!

i just need to grind it smooth and i have no leaks i checked with putting water inside

Looks getto, but you get props for the DIY.

i love to see cars that have something like that downpipe and put down massive power

lol, i know everything is top notch parts i mated a 1300 dollar turbo with a home made downpipe, i have only welded for about a day or so but i will grind it down to finish and look nice

hey if you grind that dp smooth and paint it, it will be top notch nice work on that DIY:up:
