Rate your exhaust!!!!

Megan Header
2.25" Mandrel Bent Piping
Factory Muffler
2.5" single tip coming out

Before the muffler I have an electric exhaust cutout which bypasses the muffler completely, the pipe for that is hidden up in the rear bumper and has a turndown that is not visible unlsee you look under the car.

One point its factory quiet for the cops and extremely loud for track, also I can ride between open and closed to get a variety of sounds.

No converter btw

honed and hand polished DC headers,
3" piping all the way back,
Full high flow cat,
APEX’i N1 re-honed
exhaust wrap all the way back
…It is the sound of love:drool:, it will make you cream.
:bowdown::manual:

Dynomax Hi-Flo Cat
Dynomax SS Resonator
Dynomax SS Muffler (oval style)
Borla Tip w/ intercooler (for aethetics)
ITR header
Custom 2.5" exhaust piping to match all components

Sounds great across entire RPM range except for a bit of a rattling noise at about 4.5k and higher.

Gained 15hp on a dyno tune (vs previous 2.25" setup) along with a slight cam gear adjustment.

On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best. I guess I rate it a 9 only because of the rattling.

GReddy SP2:

Looks: 10/10 VERY well constructed piece
Fitment: 9/10 *only one small hanger issue with my installation, took A minute to correct with a pair of pliers  *
SOUND:
(0-silent/10-Might as well be open header lol)
idle: 1/10
casual acceleration: 3/10
hard acceleration: 4/10
cruising: 2/10
highway speed: 2/10

hmm…well today I got pulled over for loud exhaust. Want to know the best part? I have the RSR Exmag!!! He let me go with out a ticket, but the exmag isn’t even loud and I wasn’t beatin on it:gay:

that sucks! ive heard a few rsr’s and no way it should get pulled over for being loud

tsudo= POS

all these exhaust post are useless without soundclips

that sucks! ive heard a few rsr’s and no way it should get pulled over for being loud
And want to know the worst part? I only have a SRI intake besides the ex-mag. After I install the header it will get a lil bit louder 2 as well as the high flow cat

sup! not try’n to be a thread hyjacker but I have a question. I was lookin into an edelbrock 1 pc header and heard that in order to put it in u had to pull one of the crossmembers to put it in. how hard is this to do?

I bought a Tanabe Hyper medallion exhaust from a member here but it included no gaskets or bolts, do i use the stock bolts from my stock exhaust to bolt it up? and what about gaskets did the exhaust come with gaskets or do i just bolt it up. sorry if this is something obvious but i don’t know what to do and i want my exhaust on!

Yeah Matt, you’re going to need gaskets and bolts.

ok, i just bought the bolts, now i need to get the gaskets and what size?, where can i get the gaskets, i already tried autozone but they didnt’ have any and btw this exhaust is HOTNESS, i think its a little bit to bling for me though

I’m going to assume that the exhaust is 60mm. I guess it’s better to get a gasket that’s a little too big than a little too small, so get the 2.5" gaskets.

KTeller ships very fast, so you can get the gaskets here, Matt:

Hit me up when you put it on. I wanna see it :cross:

ok i will get a 2.5 gasket, and ill defintely hit you up, i can’t wait to put it on, so hyped

You need more than one gasket. You need 3 if the exhaust is three piece. One 3-bolt gasket and two 2-bolt gaskets.

oh i know, haha, i forgot to put (s) on gasket

1992 Integra RS
w/ B17A1 swap

 • stock intake, minus resonator
 • DC Sports 4-2-1 header
 • OEM catalytic converter
 • 2 1/4 Brullen catback exhaust

Overall I give it a 7. It’s a little droney on highway runs, however city driving is quite feasible. Brullen nailed this system with a very nice rumble. No annoying raspy sounds coming out of this DA. Turns many heads, in a good way! No noise violation tickets and many compliments, from city officials too!

i got all the gaskets and bolts now, i will be putting my exhaust on soon as i can find time
