what dealer are you using im off like 820 and 35 i may just go to that dealer to lol fixing it plus the loaner vehicle… well i filed the claim with acura an they gave me a case number im just waiting on them to call me back.

living up to warranty
bump. Update. Took my car to the dealership yesterday under warranty (Seatbelt issue). They gave me a 2007 TL loaner. It’s sick. Fast!! Anyway,they are living up to the seatbelt warrenty. Great place,good people. 
my dealership is doing it after having to have acura relations down there throats… i go friday so hopefully il be getting the tl loaner too.
Sadly, my car is a salvage and the dealer said that they would not repair it. I bought the motors/assemblies of eBay, and took it in to my mechanic. He installed them, only to tell me that it’s the power belt sensor switches. I can’t fidn these parts for sale anywhere. Anyone got some, or know where I can get them?

i was kicked off the lot they had my car to fix the belts they called me in today saying it was fixed an it still wasnt but they said that i needed to take my car i spoke to the service manager and he was a complete ass told me i could jump off a cliff with the subject i cursed him out in front of everyone in acura left the service pullup smoking mytires…

Hey Scythe did you got to Gold Coast??? I live in Ventura also. I took mine there and they wouldn’t fix it cause they said the door latch in the door was the problem. Its not under warranty supposedly. Anyone else run into this???

Yeah, that’s where I went, and the guys told me my car was a ‘salvage’ (news to me) and that they wouldn’t touch it. Lots of chaos and pain later, it’s done. Got any parts for a '91 teg LS?
so do they know they have the life time warranty for seatbelts or do u have to prove it to them or what???
I know its a lot, but i suggest you start at the begining of the tread again. you obviusly missed what you need to do if your having problems with the dealership. 
Every once in a while i hear a beeping sound… and nothing lights up in my dashboard… could this be a problem with the seatbelt??? should i take it to an acura dealearship to get check out?? my seatbelts work fine.
Any chance that this would retain to the 91 also? Or is it litterally JUST the 90 models?
it dosnt matter what year. 90-93. if its a DA, its covered.

i too have taken advantage of this for my DB1 and instead of the TL i wanted a TSX cause i plan to buy one in a year or so…what sucked is that they left me without a car at first stating that they would fix it within the same day. then they told me me to come back later without offering me a ride or a car. then they told me it would be done by tomorrow and that they would not give me a car! I’m like WTF!? so i was without a car for a day and then they called the following day stating that the buckle didn’t come in and i would have to wait another day for one (I’m like oh hell naw) I demanded that a vehicle be given to me. they gave me options so i went with a TSX later after surprising my girlfriend and taking her up to S.F. i was cruising at about 115mph and got pulled over by CHP.they did the routine stuff license reg. proof of insurance and asked if i knew how fast i was going? in return i said no!. they asked me to guess, i guessed somewhere between 75-80mph and they laffed and asked who’s TSX is this?. i told them what dealership it was from and one of the officers had recently bought an MDX from the same dealership and said “Today is your lucky day” and let me off without another word, guess that car is a good omen for me…
but i still love my db1
I removed mine.
I don’t feel that it’s needed anymore.
I just use what ever is left on my own personal life time warranty.
Plus I do have life insurance.:ethug:
I just got my car back today from the dealer…i looked at price for fixing the passenger seat belt and the grand total was over 700 bucks!!! they change everything. thank someone for lifetime warranty.
