- injectors are not big enough for turbo.
- JET will not be able to fine tune your car. Would not go that route.
Do more research and then turbo your car. If not you will be forking out alot more money than needed.
good luck

260cc, thats not good enough sell them and get dsm 450cc for 50-60 bucks, and a walboro 255 fuel pump. do alite more researching and asking questions before you just buy stuff.
Or buy something that is already proven and works. http://g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153406 Pull and play. Hook this kit up with a good ecu and fuel system and forget the what if’s. All the R&D has already been done.
That would work mike.
Wow thank god I asked those questions! I didn’t know 260 cc was too low for turbo… 450cc that’s almost double that! I’m going to leave that turbo alone and worry about it when money is good again. I’m way too tight to play with that and probably will end up spending more than 2 grand so it’s not worth it now. Thank you guys! you saved me!
2 grand is just a start…hahaha
but the boost is well worth the money spent.
meeto7 is exactly right well worth it. and your welcome for the help thats what the forums are here for.
you know if someone designed a kind of bolt on brace kit for SSAC manifolds and shit like that they can prolly make some money off it.
that somebody who could make a ton of money off that idea COULD have been you, friend.
i know but im too busy with other stuff to develop it. nor do i have the manifold to do it on.
they probably wouldn’t fit, and break.
I just bought a mig welder but I think if your going to brace one of the SS manifold you will need a tig welder. Mig wont hold on any type of turbo manifold.
but if I can get a hold of one then I’ll probably do that. I may do it in the up and coming spring, summer.
woah, just read all pages.
I plan on peicing one of my own together.
I’ll have to getahold of the oil restricters etc…
I have a GARRETT .70 For sale. Like, super cheap!
No chaft play and its clean.
(its off a ford deisel so I dont know if it’ll work on a t3flange etc…)
braceing a SS auto mani would be simple, pull the weight towards the bolts of the header flange they crack cuz most turbos/wastegates people use weight too much for the sissy mani to hold…
i have one i have been using for quite some time on misc projects no cracks, no leaks (knocks on wood about 60 times) although i always use internally wastegated turbos… they dont weigh too much compared to other combos i have seen put on there.
here’s my brace, it holds the turbo flange to the head flange. Basically, it holds any turbo easily. there are 2 strainless steel 1/2 inch rod
as for the wastegate flange, SS made a brace for this, and for me, it holds fine still.
what size turbo is that typRWhiteTeg93??? If you use a stainless steel flat bar that is pretty thick…like 1/4 inch or larger and weld it from flange to flange then it should hold up against anything. I may try one in the near future like posted on anouther thread. but besides bracing, the only thing I see messing up the manifold is running lean. Many people dont realize that if you run to lean on anything that it will cause the temps in the exhaust manifold to raise. When that happend then there goes that cheap material.
snap-cracle-pop…lol
this is a T3 made by XS
any updates on the kit ???:hump: blown up yet, still running, …?
mines running strong still. im puting it into the garage for the next 6 months though … :bye: :bye: :bye:
