does that get rid of the frogs in the road? a de-"frog"er?
Ok, thanks alot for this guys!
One question, I still cant turn on JUST the fogs, I have to turn on the lowest lights (the little ones on the sides driving lights) in order to turn them on. What did I miss?
Hi guys.
I may have missed it cuz its freaking 2.40 AM right now, but i am trying to find a way how to do this on my 93 RS. Been trying to find for a while and I can’t seem to find a good tutorial that would guide me.
Anyone?
i keep getting so damn frustrated. Im trying to pull out the switches, and i used a screwdriver to pry the things out by prying on the top, and the clip would pop off, but it still wont come out and when i try to pry out the bottom, the top pops back in place. :WTF:
guyz now my defroster light doesn’t work can anyone help me?
first disconnect neg. battery cable
cut the red w/ yellow tracer wire going to foglight switch(leave as much as you can attached to the switch) now take and splice the red w/yellow tracer wire(attached to fog switch) into the black w/yellow tracer wire on the defogger switch(so its like 3wires together). if the switches are on opposite sides of steering column just make a jumper/extension wire and tuck it up over steering column and up under cluster
if you did that it should work just fine
also this is in the teg tips section under lighting(the very top one on the list)
i did do all that but after i was finished the light for my defroster doesn’t comon? wut could it be
Have you checked the defroster fuse?
I followed the Teg Tips instructions very carefully but now my fog lights won’t turn on. Everytime I push the button it blows the fog light fuse. I’ve put up to a 20A fuse and it still blows that. How come? The defrost still works fine and it doesn’t blow it’s 7.5A fuse, so why does the fog light switch have so much current running through it? Thanks
Hey whats up,
I own an 90 Rs, and the switches are on oppesite sides of the steering wheel
What now?
Thanks, Later
sorry but i didnt read all the posts.
so rewiring will let me turn on the foglights without having the headlights on? if not what will this do? thanx
90 integra: yes you can have your foglights on without the headlights
pedro, in the walkthrough thing, the fogs were rewired in a integra with a sunroof which puts the sunroof switch on the other side and moves the fog switch right next to the defogger switch. In your case, your RS does not have a sunroof making the fog switch on the opposite side of the defogger switch. You still cut and splice together the same wires, except now you have to use a piece of wire long enough to go from your fog switch to your defogger switch and connect it that way.
Damn, I made this thread 3 years ago
Daytime Running lights
If I re-wire them, wont my daytime running lights stay on? I want to have only the fogs on, no DTRL.
thanks guys!
just remove the fuse for the DTRL’s
 just finished mine, wow that was easy. my first time doing anything like this(suckass wiring job). mmm hotness.
I dont have DTRL on my 90 integra rs,
Could you please explain this to me.
I understand on some cars when you start the car then lights come on ether way.
But I was not aware that our tegs had this. :hmm:
one of the wires you cut must still be grounding out somewhere causing it to keep blowing the fuses. take apart the wires you cut and connected and re-tape them back again. Chances are that the wires are touching each other or something@!
