The JeLLie-mobile is back in business.

Im really loving the organization of your garage. It makes everything look that much better in there. I will be moving into my first house later this month and have been trying to figure out how i want to lay out the garage before i get the car there.

Any chance i can get you to take a shot from the driveway looking into the garage?

No problem, I’ll get it probably on Wednesday.

Damn that’s clean! I’d be depressed to drive it after.

[QUOTE=DA JeLLie;2291643]Here are the newest updates.

Ran to Lowes & Picked up a few items I could use for the build. Thanks for the tip on the plasti-dip.

If you guys wonder why it takes me so long just to get a couple of real simple, small things done. It’s because everytime I get ready to work on the car, I end up having to clean something in the garage. Even dirty bottles bother me.

A couple things arrived. (something else just arrived, but I didn’t take a picture yet) I think I’m set for any type of OEM part that I want to make a fresh black now. (I will still be poser coating a few things)

Took all the detailing stuff I got, and made the dilution ratios I wanted.

Cleaned the windshield wiper parts that sit under the cowl. Here’s the befores

Afters

LOL, thats attention to the details… that linkage looks like its right out of the factory:up:

The best part is driving it, because I like to clean it after.

Its not 100% perfect, but I am happy with the results.

Subscribed:) That thing is super clean! I can only dream about doing a build as meticulous as this…

Clean!!

haha yeah I guess so! I hate cleaning. I have a hard time just cleaning the exterior of my car before I take it out to places. Usually I’m the only one with a dirty car. But I have 400whp I have no time for that!

I saw that too, plus looks like Eminem Recovery

I was concentraiting on the stack of I love old school plate frames… lol

I guess I better start watching out for all the little details in my pictures. :squint:

I haven’t had time to take a picture of the garage, but I will get it. It looks like crap right now because we were going to move out, then decided to move back halfway through the process. So alot of boxes still in the garage.

With the move, not everything is the way I normally have it. But here is an Idea

Alright, a full weekend for me, but barely any updates for you.

I have a couple shelves of parts that need to be restored. I wanted to put some work in on the mud flaps I got from a friend. I am not going to use the front flaps, but I had them so I thought I would try out the method I thought I wanted to use, and as long as that method works, then I will use the process on the rear flaps, I will be using.

Use some degreasers, and then a vinyl cleaner to clean up the flaps.

After some vinyl Dressing This is how it came out.

Side by Sides

I took the car back to the paint shop that did the front end. I think they didn’t want to re-do anything. I explained to them how important it was to paint everything separately, but they ended up painting the drivers side molding right on the door. Well that’s not going to fly, I took it back to have them fix that and a couple other things. When they were removing the JDM molding it was totally obliterated, kinks all over the place. They tried to replace it, but this is what happened.

But he knew right away when I showed up, he was already searching for a drivers side JDM molding. I told him it probably wasn’t gonna happen, that we would just have to get a full set to replace that one piece. So I’ll be going back there shortly to get that fixed. But for now, I can’t stand driving around in the car like that.

Some more parts that arrived.

From PWJDM. I don’t think I will have this on there too long, but I wanted something other than the AEM intake, and it needed to hold me over until the Honda Dealer replaces some of the OEM Type R Intake Parts

And then I started doing a little bit of work to the car.

Installed Intake

Started cleaning the valve cover. This one is actually going to be powder coated once my OEM replacement arrives. Here’s a 50/50

I also cleaned and polished the washer portion, but replaced the stud from my old motor.
Left Side cleaned and polished, right side just cleaned.

Before

After

Might as well as long as Im there.

Here is pretty much a before and after. Even though the v/c is chipping it’s amazing how much just this little clean up made a difference.

Hung a few pictures in the hallway of my office area at home

I think I’m going to head out tonight and snap a few pics of the DA. Hopefully I make it back without getting harassed.

Love the new updates, looking forward to the ITR intake. Been wanting to do the same with mine.

Thanks. I’m really just waiting on Honda Parts Unlimited to ship all this stuff to me. They have been letting me down lately, and it’s getting annoying.

Went out to shoot the other night. I wanted to try light painting, so this was the first image I really edited. I’m working on the rest which are just normal natural light.

Amazing vehicle!!
