hush22 bracket is were its at …i made this thread to show other da guys what works for are cars and as you see there are 2 perfect examples of high hp da integras that are having success with it i wouldnt bother trying any other option and just get hushed up!!..
I can’t believe that a db2 teggy is hitting 900whp mark that’s insane so mad props to you and the other dude in the 700 hp mark. Hey db2-gsr-lv how did you fix you hydro conv problems with your pedal maxing out before the floor right ? and did it felt like the master was bottoming out yes or I’m I wrong cause I have the exact problem now but I can’t seem to get it in gear. I’m running an oem clutch so I wouldn’t want to go excesive and get a tilton release bearing or something like that I just need help on figureing out on how to get my clutch to engage and for it to reach the floor like a normal car if that’s possible. I’d appreciate any imput and sorry to thread jack on your thread but you seem to be knowlegeble on this.
thanks bro this is why i started this thread to help every one else out that might run into the same problems …my problem was the salve cylinder witch is why i tryed the tilton, but with out the hush22 bracket i would still be kicking my self…what kind of bracket do you have and with what slave and master are you using…the problems are caused by the angle of the master cylinder if the shaft does not go into the mc in the right angle you will have problems…
thx!! there are afew high horse power DA out there across the u.s.a…i believe the chase for 9’s are on !!here are some more pics from last weeks ifo tucson event…
thx best time is still a 11.5 only hitn 3 gears.car has been running like shit, issues after issue…im pluging away at fixing everything that comes up …im hoping for some good times at ifo vegas dec 2nd.should have it all figuered out…
the only prob you will find with the b16 is the short gears ratio ,you will most likely have to shift into 5th gear to pass the 1320 mark.and the fast revving gears dont allow for much time in boost .the gsr trans is the best for boost and a ls trans is the best for highway driving …lol…hope that helps!
had been working on a few issues i was having and one was the stock gsr gears.so i was able to pick up a par gear set cheap from a member on h-t so i installed them.also i re-did the headgasket again this time i used a oem gasket from g.e,also i changed out my mounts for some solid hasport mounts thx to joe@locashracing…
as for the start of the 2013 season ifo phoenix was canceld due to rain, and like a dumb ass i made the trip…lol but had fun just hanging.so i didnt have a chance to try out my new gears so i took the car out during the weekend and did a few test runs just to see how the gears will work…here is a video of me testing befor the gears - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2unMIJ2-mw
and as of last weekend i was able to attend ifo bakersfield cal.were i got my first chance to try the car out with the new trans ,mounts, and headgasket.ALL I CAN SAY IS DAMM!! the car was doing good for once…lol i ran my new personal best each run ,first run was a 10.82@150mph then a 10.53@145mph than my new personal best of a 10.44@146mph found one problem with the boost by gear settings so my short track was pretty shitty so im hoing the next time out the car will go 9’s…here are alot of pics from the past 3months…enjoy====>>>
love your DA! can’t wait to get mine all finished up. seeing your progress gives me inspiration to go out in the garage and do stuff to mine, so thanks! and congrats on the new pb.
Theres some flex in that carbon fiber hood. I have one i want to run but i was contemplating running hood pins. Are you considering that or is it holding up for you?
