I’ve been following your build, the car looks awesome.
I have a very similar build. It’s a '92 GS-R #1960 - I also have a Golden Eagle sleeved B20/Vtec. It’s fully built, all forged internals and I’m at 10.6:1 CR on E85. I’m nearing completion on it now and I’m also going with the Hush Performance kit. The version 2.5 seems to have most of the growing pains out of it, but after reading your thread, I too am wondering if i’ll need that Tilton release bearing. I planned on the Competition Twin Disk Clutch all along but now i’m considering the Clutch Masters 850. Here’s the link: http://www.clutchmasters.com/850-series/
I had a question about your fuel pump. I went with a Walbro 450 and I ran a new -10 supply line, then put the pump on it’s own relay. Did you use your OEM supply hard line as your new return?
My goals are not quite as lofty as yours as I want this car to be street legal. I’m looking to tune it down to about 600whp +/- 20
It’s really nice to see a few other high horsepower DB2’s out in the world. Our small engine bay make running turbos quite a challenge, but to me, that’s all part of the fun. Keep up the good work. Here’s a build thread I’ve been working on if you want to check it out.
Keep up the great work guys, see you out there.
as of 12/04/16 the car has run a new personal best of 9.10 @ 164mph aemv2 c85 fuel and a kick ass import auto pros tune 2017 we will be in to the 8 sec zone
