Turbo on stock internals?

Looking at buying a turbo kit, with a t304e turbo a/r 50…

can i run this on stock internals?

and how much boost to run?

no more than 8psi max on stock internals for saftey?
If it were me i stay around 6psi. Some people will tell u 10psi is fine or safe. but think about boost spikes as well.

There is a thread about this already…thats all folks

Thanks for the info…

does 700 sound good for a full kit every little thing you need?

sounds like an ebay kit…

what about fuel/engine management?

yes 700 sounds awsome for a full kit… assuming they are all quality parts… I’ve seen people boost past 300 hp on stock internals but alot of it depends on the tune… technically no boost is safe without a really good tune…

X2

Upgraded injectors/AEM fuel rail, Some sort of apexi afc, and some other stuff.

no on the afc.

Get a chipped ecu. Run turboedit/crome depending on your car.
Way bigger tuning options over afc.

Upgrade injectors: Yes
Fuel Rail/LInes: Not really necessary(They’re good for 400hp supposedly)
Fuel pump: Probably a good idea to replace this, preferably with a bigger one (255lph paired with a aftermarket fpr)

Im actually just running a chipped ecu, dsm 450’s and tune and my DA is running just fine.

Also look into getting a wideband to watch your afr.

if you use that blinking button that says search or look on the turbo guide it will answer all your questions its been said that the stock internals will handle up to 300 or more the key is the TUNE!

300hp is about the max ppl usually run on stock internals with no problems. thats what ill be running in 3 weeks on stock internals. ill be alround 15 psi with my setup.maybe a little more.

i will be looking to run 6-9 psi daily and 11-13 track…

as far as tuning can i chip my stock ecu so that i can put maps and shit on it?

just dont boost the snot out of it and you will be fine…8 psi and 300 is the whp you want to make on stock motor

yea im running 8psi, here is a dyno, I have a jdm gs-r, stock internals, hondata s200…

the first thing I would do is a compression and leak down test to see what kind of shape your motor is currently in.

Honestly that exactly what i was thinking,

I know my oil pan is leaking :wahmb:

Does anyone know what the max psi boost on the GReddy turbo kit.

so, it rains it pours.

i think my headgasket is going, :tsk:

cometic headgasket?
