anybody here making 300+whp with p/s n a/c still in? i have a turboed swap gsr in my db1 with a log mani, i want to change to a ram horn style but my builder say its gonna be really hard maybe not even possible cause space is too tight. any suggestions?thx
it’ll be impossible to run a ramhorn with a/c and power steering. your only option as far as i know is a log manifold.
thx, anymore inputs guys? cause i really want to know more,i know some guys with DC tegs that has ram horn with both a/c n p/s. i really want a better mani that can give me more power, the log mani can only hold so much.thx for the help
just out of curiosity…what log manifold do you have on there now?
i think is a rev hard,but not 100% sure
You could try and find one of these, they said it lets you keep everything:
Who needs a/c when your pulling 300hp…The wind in your face will keep you cool.
No it won’t, not when it’s 100+ degrees outside. I’d rather have A/C.
I had the same question and it looks like the answer is No. I have a B16A in my G2 now and I guess I will just have to step up to a GSR shortblock instead of a snail.

You could install a Vortech cent. s/c with an aftercooler, and you’ll be able to keep a/c.
Just a thought.

There ARE a/c turbo setups for G2 tegs… its just very hard/impossible with ramhorn style manifolds and pushing big numbers.
i talked to phil from spoolin.he can make me a a/c compatible mani, just have to do some fabrication for it to work
What brand turbo kits allow me to keep A/C?
ac and turbo in a second gen teg is a rare thing.
being boost with ac in a dc or eg is easy but the cramped engine bar of DA’s and the way the ac line is ran makes it very hard.
ive just bought a turbo kit off ebay (im in australia he only way to get them is from ebay.) anyways
im going to do it to a hi kms b18a, completely stock
this is my turbo setup i bought

how will i get around keeping ps and ac
its hot in aust
Im buy ing all the steel i will need to mock up a manifold for g2’s with ac and p/s
let us know when u do
i will…im tired of guys complaining about they want turbo but dont want to take the ac or p/s out…
when is 100 degree outside u need ac, plus u will make some money
I know thats the plan…
