What have you done to your Integra today? (Part 1)

Replaced the worn out OEM steering wheel with another OEM steering wheel that the vinyl is not soft and does not roll on the metal tube. Those little screws behind the horn center plate are a #$%@ but I got em.

I put my sunroof visor back on today. I have a weird love hate thing going on with it so I’ll see how long it stays on once spring rolls around. I also finally did a mouse check because both Integras are parked for the winter. Also going to start picking up some maintenance parts to put in once they’re mobile again (spark plugs, fuel filters and a thermostat for the GS-R).

Blew the motor lol

OOOPS.!!! :uhoh:

I took all the power off my car today =[

The last few times I’ve driven it I thought it was getting slower, well I decided to do a datalog today and noticed I was only making 13lbs instead of 16. Then I did another pull and noticed I was only making 10lbs. After that I heard an exhaust leak. I got home and thought maybe the wastegate was getting stuck open. When I put the allen wrench on the dump tube bolt to remove it the entire wastegate moved around. Then I noticed the giant crack =[

I barely touched it and the whole thing snapped off. I’m lucky it didn’t fall off on the highway.

So I took everything off so it could be fixed

Manifold has a lifetime warranty on it, but it would be more of a hassle for me to contact the guy that made it and ship it to him then it would be for me to just weld it back up myself What sucks most about this is I just got new R888’s put on yesterday and was hoping to test them out this weekend. I’ll have to wait one more week to see how good they are

I found a set of bumper plugs while cleaning out my home tool box so I threw them on. The funny thing is I don’t remember picking them up but I must have grabbed them from PnP and just forgot about them. Someone had the great idea to fire some screws through them so I’ll have to try my hand at plastic welding to fill the holes. They look much better than the gaping holes that were in the bumper cover though.

Finally found a stainless steel RS*R in my area!

Lucky find gravex is it complete? Looks like in prestine condition.

Terbong - Yea it was definitely a lucky find!! I’ve been keeping an eye out for the stainless steel version for a while now.
It’s not in pristine condition, it has its flaws but I’m very pleased with it since I’m sure if I ever come across a better condition one it’ll probably cost more than I’m willing to pay lol. It is complete but unfortunately the middle section of the piping isn’t stainless steel, it’s the black version.

Nice find on the RSR!! I took her out today for a quick wash and wax

Did an oil change and found some coolant mixed in the oil. Trying to confirm if it was a blown headgasket or not. Hoping not but if so then time for new build.

Will 88 prelude struts fit our chasis?

Got B18C1 block for the RS-R build :hump:

A little spring cleaning

^^ nice

Thanks!

Finished this tonight.

^^ nice again. how long did it took you from start to finished?

I changed out my tires and stock wheels with 16" Velox Apex wheels

About 2 hours. Nothing to fancy. Just cleaned it up a bit. Looks better than it did, I think. Thanks again.
