I can help you out with the brakeline brackets man, shoot me an email
<----------- Look there
feel free to shot me an email as well. they arnt that hard to get of the stut, it just takes a little patience and a second pair of hands helps.
unfortunatly my extra brackets are already spoken for and in fact droped off at my buddys last night, FYI if your hunting around a junk yard for a set of DA struts to pull them from and you dont have any luck, see if you can find an ef civic. they use the same brackets:whisper:
Hey, did you ever get my reply?
Got some stuff today.

New front suspension hardware, lower balljoints, and some tools on the right. The 3 balljoint remover/installer tools, bearing driver attachment, and guide attachment for disassembleing/reassembling the knuckle/hub. Next order will be 5 more tools and new front lca’s.
Full-Race traction bar arriving on Thursday, pulling motor soon. Yay.
very nice man, your gonna love that FR bar:up:
Bought this and put it together last night.

Now i just gotta decide how im going to take the motor out.
looking good man, like I said in my email. If you ever need anything just give me a call:up:
Thanks, i really appreciate all the help.
Well the chain is on, all harnesses/hoses/cables are pulled, and all i need is a hoist. The hardware i used came from elsewhere on the car, so i didnt need to buy any bolts or nuts or anything. I just realized i forgot to put another washer on the tranny spot.

Damn I can’t wait to see all of this stuff restored, will definitely keep an eye on this thread
Thanks, its nice some people are so interested. I was thinking a bit ahead for the past few days on what im going to do for wheels/tires and sound system etc. Less important stuff.
Anyways, these came today.

Theyre the DC version, so im likely going to try to use the DA bushing sleeves with them. Might swap to DC trailing arms, havent decided yet. Calling a specialty fastener place tomorrow to find bolts to put my engine on the stand, havent bought a hoist yet. Had an offer from an acquaintance to bring one over and “help” me, but he needs to take it back with him so if i need to move the motor again im fucked. Probably just buy one, even though i cant afford it.
Finally. First motor i ever pulled, did it alone with no problems. The puddle in the last pic is coolant i didnt realize was trapped in the motor.

Taking the tranny off tomorrow and putting the motor on my stand.
Looks good man! I’ve pulled a few motors, but I still have yet to put one in. Good luck!
I do beleive there will be a motor going back in, of the B18CR variety.
I got the transmission and pressure plate/clutch/flywheel off and put her up on the stand today. Started removing miscellaneous engine bay junk. Possibly pull the dash and stuff tomorrow, remove the cruise/throttle/clutch cables, speedo cable etc. Get at the rest of the A/C stuffs, and get me that heater duct.(anybody got a part number?) Also have to pull the rear subframe and steering rack.
This showed up on my doorstep today.

All very nice stuff. Can’t wait to see what you do once everything is out
He had to say something man. You wouldn’t respond in your for sale thread, or email him back. I’m not going to throw myself to far into this, but I did just want to say that communication is paramount when you are selling parts on a national forum. I vouched for you to Robbie, so hopefully you come through and make everything right.
So i had 2 glorious days off, and figured id take advantage of it. Pulled the dash and A/C evaporator (still installed in the pic) and started pulling wiring harnesses and cables from the bay.

Also was thinking about how far im gonna have my painter paint. As of right now im going from Frost White to Moonrock Gray Metallic. So the obvious things are the engine bay, door frame/insides of doors, behind all window trim etc. Im thinking ill paint the floor with POR-15 along with the fender wells and pretty much anything covered with the interior panels, but as far as i know POR-15 can only be painted on bare metal. Stripping everything to bare metal might be near impossible, so i may go to undercoating/black paint.
