that’s how I roll too
I’ve never heard of anyone not using springs before. What is it like?
yea no springs, that doesnt sound like a great idea. i want to know how it rides too…
no springs ride like ass, I did that on my old car and it will beat the hell out of you…letirally you will bounce all over the road

Are you speaking from experiance?
There are a lot of people talking shit about HP’s but how many of them have/had them?
I’m on H&R race and Tokico HP’s… It’s been 2 years and about 30,000miles and they aren’t blown out. The ride is a little stiff but there is no body roll and they corner great.
I think it was well worth the $250 shipped for them. The only issue i have is the H&R’s are sagging in the rear.[/QUOTE]
Exactly. Its all about personal experience. I hate when people say don’t do this or don’t do that. based on what their friends have done or didn’t like.
I had tokico blues with HR race’s on my sedan. loved the ride… but it wasn’t low enough. I sold them to my friend who has a coupe we installed he loves em… it sits perfect for him. i swapped over to a full bodied Tein SS… and love em. its only bouncy if i set it to completely stiff… which i don’t.
This is the results of blues with less than 50k miles on them with a mild 1.5-2 inch drop.
remember too. that the second you put these in coilovers, u void the warenty.:bored:
Springs weigh an average of 5# a piece. By removing them, you gain two things without any negative affects:
Reduced unsprung weight for better handling
Lowered ride height

You gotta be kidding me, right?
Do you think springs are an important part of about 99% (less those with airbags acting as a spring) of the vehicles in this world’s suspensions for no good reason? Dude I really hope you guys are kidding. That Sh*t isn’t cool. It’s really dangerous to roll like that. :ghetto:
(if you were kidding disregard this post, if not, flame if you want…it’s only a matter of time before that cheap crap backfires on you)
yuck! :dunno: …no springs?
ok sounds like im going for the tokico s but what springs should i go for…im not liking for anythign lower then 1.8 and that wont lag but also arent expensive i was going to go witht he neuspeeds but ear they lag fast and then the HR lag in the rear fsat also what other springs are there that wont ?>
bump:tapfing:
If you are going with tokico blues, I recommend getting a matching set of tokico springs. They actually sell a tokico blues/springs suspension kit. I picked up mine off ebay for $300 shipped. That included the blues, tokico lowering springs which lowered my car 1"
The Red 1991 GS is running with Eibach Pro-Kit and Koni Yellows(Adjustable only way to go!)! Awesome ride, but I didn’t like the uneven drop
My 1992 GSR I had running with Ground Controls Coilovers and KYB AGX(Adjustable) Good ride, even drop, but just not stiff enough.
Lastly, my 1993 GS the way I bought it. Tokico Blues and Skunk2 coilovers in the front and skunk2 springs in the rear. Love the ride height, but going that low needs some Koni.
I have had all the aspecs of Gen2 Integra’s and an array of suspension upgrades. I think my now 1993 GS will be keeping the Skunk2’s but reinstalling them in the spring with some Koni’s.

J’s91Teg: what size are those wheels on the red GS?? 15-16"? how uneven is the drop with the pro-kit? im lookin at gettin prokit soon or the sportline
Sprint Springs + KYB Struts
Coming Soon: Omni-Power Full Coilovers, Energy Suspension Bushing Kit, Neuspeed Strut Tower Bar, and Megan Racing LCA’s…just used for street, not goin all out.

They were 15’’ Konig Heluims and the drop wasn’t all that uneven. I just wanted lower. 1.8’’ front and 1.6’’ rear. I think I could have made it even if I would have put my front koni on the upper perch and the rears on the lowest perch. The ride with Eibachs were AWESOME and when it came to autox and cranking the konis up it was ridgid like it needed to be.
My 2 cents…

ok “90integrac1” i msgd you in our thread. but u havnt said nething. i still havnt received the mounts yet. and its been 6weeks already. either u track this item or il do something bout this. this was alot of money. so id appreciate if you could find out where these mounts are…
neway guys anyone know where to buy or if ne1 has it for sale that white car on pg 2. the rear bumper. the mugen 1?
I’m kind of confused now. I have tokico illuminas, and black eibach springs. Drop is about 0.5 from stock all around, so it basically has no drop at all, and the front sits too high.
Question is: I’m just looking for a simple 1.6 in the front and 1.4 in the back drop, without all those damn camber issues, because I’m in no need to fork over loads of cash for new tires every time one of them blows because of uneven wear.
What is the most simple (and cheap!) way to get the drop without the camber issues? would just a new set of springs (tein S.tech maybe) work, or do I have to toss everything and go for a totally new setup?

do you have the blue Sprint Springs?. i m getting ready to install mine, matched with Sprint XS shocks and cant find a decent pic of a car lowered with Sprints. ifyou have a better pic of your drop id appreciate it. if theyre not low enough, im not gonan waste my time doing it.
reason i ask is before i bought mine their site said the ride height was lowered 2.5f 2.25r, and then it changed to 2.0 all around. im just afraid of having too uneven/not low enough of a drop.
also what size wheels do you have?
