bump for update
Finally making some headway i think i got the intake fully installed now and last night i corner weighted the car and set up all my suspension, camber caster and toe. And was pleasantly surprized on the total weight of 2260 lbs. without gas tank in car. but heres some pics and tomorrow i should have a good 8 hours to spend on it hope it goes well…
LOVE it!! :salute::manual:
When you’re done, you’re going to need to mount up those fat ass tires that are sitting off to the side in that last pic!!! lol, the bigger one looks like a rear tire off a Viper. Time to tub the front of the teg!
Dude,
I think your right about the tubing part.:iagree:

do you have an interior? doesnt look like he has much other than a seat in there…
not that the interior weights 300lbs…
Yes i do…but its not that heavy!! and the rims he scaled his car with probably weigh alot more than my gsr blades!!! im just curious where all his weight went… i would love to get mine down to that weight!!! but i dont really wanna cut up my car!!!
thats a good question… his wheels do look really big…
And the H series swap weighs about 30 pounds more than a B series…
interested to know as well. awesome build BTW!!!
i am in for updates, this is a great build.
is that a land cruiser in the background?
my boy just had a 1uz from the tundra put in a 74 land cruiser.
your shop looks well organized.
My car is pretty gutted i have no interior but one seat at the moment which are prelude seats, and the gas tank was out aswell but everything else is installed on the car. The scales i used are very accurate and i was very surprized aswell at the weight but when you think about if the seat and my crome molly cage and my fat ass at 200lbs i can see it being closer to 2400 or so. My wheels are volk te37s and are very light aswell. If you look too, the front is very front heavy aswell but it still handles quite well.
The truck in the back is a Ford bronco custom truck getting built in the shop sorry no land cruiser…
I got some more work done tonight aswell i made a custom flange for my idle control motor to remotely mount it and connect it to the ford throttle body i am using. So if i am able to get some done this weekend i can see maybe just maybe i may be able to get it started soon…
Wicked!!!
Dude you’re my new role model in life!!! I want to do a H22 powered 90 DB1 cause I’ve never seen it done only the DA’s get such luck. Lately I been seeing more posts of H22 swapped Integra’s so thank you for showing me I’m not the only crazy guy wanting to do this.
So today and last week finished up my oil system by modifying an oil cooler sandwich running oil lines and today finished my exhaust finally…
that should be all for today and this week i will get a start on my wire tuck and engine harness. The only thing left is to build a fuel surge tank to fit just in front of my muffler and mount the inline bosch fuel pump and run a new line. Very close now i guess still a lot of hours left but i will get her done.
everytime i see this project get closer and closer, it just puts a smile on my face, if im ever in B.C. i have to drop by and see this car first hand
